Patrick Dempsey Shaves His Own Head On Camera After Going Platinum for a Role - Check Out the Dramatic Transformation!

Patrick Dempsey was ready to shake up his look, and he took matters into his own hands to do so.

The 56-year-old Grey’s Anatomy alum is famous for his dark, curly locks.

However, he decided to shave them off a few months after debuting a platinum blonde look at the 2022 D23 Expo. Luckily, his wife Jillian Dempsey captured the moment on camera and shared it with fans.

“Change is good,” Jillian wrote in the caption that accompanied a clip of Patrick taking clippers to his hair. “Have you ever buzzed your hair? Watch [Patrick Dempsey] use clippers to eliminate the dyed hair from a character role and start fresh!”

She added that someone was on hand in case the cut went badly. They were also there to “give it some edge for styling.”

We haven’t seen the final look yet, but the close-cropped cut looks like it will be quite dapper on Patrick.
