7. Not So Good Boyfriends

Both shows include characters that don’t exactly make girls want to have boyfriends.

While Euphoria’s Nate (Jacob Elordi) is both abusive and a cheater, Swarm features the abusive Sir (Casey Mills) and the cheating Khalid (Damson Idris).

Although the futures of both Sir and Khalid may have already been decided by Dre in Swarm’s first two episodes, Nate’s may go either way in Euphoria.

In Euphoria’s Season 2 finale, Nate says to his father Cal (Eric Dane): “You are who you are, and I don’t think you’re ever gonna change.”

In a way, that quote could relate to Dre, who kills people that dislike Ni’Jah. After most of the characters express their dislike of Ni’Jah in Swarm, there’s no turning back, which of course led to them being “taken care of” by Dre.
