'Ride' Star Sara Garcia Once Convinced Her Classmates That Her Grandfather Invented the Ferris Wheel!

Sara Garcia is fast becoming a fan favorite on Hallmark Channel‘s Ride, and for good reason.

The actress stars as Valeria Galindo in the series, but it was recently revealed that Valeria might not be her real identity after all.

The episode where Valeria’s past comes back not only to haunt her, but have Tuff (Jake Foy) asking all the questions, will actually re-air TONIGHT, at 10 p.m. on Hallmark.

Ride centers on a multigenerational family ensemble focusing in on the lives of the Murrays, part of a rodeo dynasty going back a generation, as they struggle to keep their beloved ranch afloat.

1. I am of Uruguayan, Lebanese, and Scottish descent.
2. I grew up participating in singing competitions as a kid and was trained as a music theatre performer first. I actually went to an arts high school that was pretty similar to the musical Fame.

3. I have two middle names, one of them being Ferris (yes like Bueller!) and I used to tell kids at school that my grandfather invented the Ferris wheel. I was pretty convincing, might even have been some of my best acting.
4. I lived in Shanghai for 3 years teaching English and volunteering. It was a magical time and I met some of my best friends there. It’s also where I fell back in love with acting and decided to make it my full-time career.
5. I’m an athletic and competitive person. I’ve played soccer my whole life, swam competitively in high school, ran track, practiced kickboxing, yoga, and I love to hike.
6. I’m a voice-over actor and have been in video games such as Far Cry 6 as well as cartoons like My Little Pony. I actually have an upcoming leading role in a new Netflix animated series called Unicorn Academy which will be airing in the fall.
7. I am passionate about mental health awareness. I live with a diagnosed anxiety condition that has led me down a path of self-discovery, healing, growth, and a greater acceptance of myself and others.
8. I love writing music. I’m self-taught on the ukulele and I’m learning the guitar. I’ve written a few songs that I hope to share at some point in the future.
9. I am an avid painter. My paintings are a flow expression, where I move with my breath to help me work through moments of anxiety and bring me back to the present moment. I think art is an excellent tool to process emotions and unresolved traumas.
10. I am openly and proudly Queer.
