Vanna White Reaches Partial Agreement Amid 'Wheel of Fortune' Salary Negotiations (Report)

It appears that Vanna White is one step closer to securing a deal to stay on Wheel of Fortune.

The beloved TV star has been a fixture on the game show for 41 years and is seeking a raise following the departure of co-host Pat Sajak.

According to the latest, her team reached at least a partial agreement with Sony, and there are additional details about where they are still ironing out details and what is causing delays.

According to TMZ, Vanna and her lawyer Bryan Freedman were able to negotiate a deal with Sony for Celebrity Wheel of Fortune.

The report suggested that she was looking to make around half of what Pat netted on the show. The former host is believed to have made approximately $400,000 per episode. Vanna reportedly settled for a $100,000 per episode payout, well below her request.

Vanna‘s contract with Celebrity Wheel of Fortune was reportedly coming to a close. There is another year left on her contract with the main show. However, her salary discussions have been put on pause amid the ongoing writer’s strike.

Despite that, the report suggests that Vanna has not had much luck making headway with Sony. Again, she was seeking half of what Pat was making. However, Sony was allegedly unhappy with the amount that they were paying him and do not want to use it as a reference.

The company is said to have rejected an offer to bring in a third party to help come up with a “fair figure.”

“It’s gonna get ugly if they [Sony] don’t get more serious,” a source told the outlet.

A report earlier this summer revealed how much Vanna was making and the shocking length of time she went without getting a raise.
