Miranda Lambert Reacts to Fan's 'Shoot Tequila, Not Selfies' T-Shirt at Concert

Miranda Lambert having some fun with her fans.

Last week, the 39-year-old country star stopped her concert when she spotted a fan taking a selfie instead of watching her performance.

“I’m gonna stop right here for a second, I’m sorry,” she said. “These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the song.”

Miranda continued, “It’s pissing me off a little bit. Sorry, I don’t like it. At all. We’re here to hear some country music tonight. I’m singing some country damn music.”

The situation caused a stir on social media, with some fans coming to Miranda‘s defense while others called out her behavior.

During a recent concert, Miranda reacted to a fan who’s shirt referenced the situation.

“Her shirt says, ‘Shoot tequila, not selfies,” Miranda said in the clip, which was shared on Saturday (July 22). “She did it, I didn’t!”

She added, “That’s badass.” She then grabbed a bottle of mini tequila from the audience member, raised a toast and took the shot onstage. Check out the video here.
