Alyson Stoner Describes 'Uncomfortable' Experience Kissing Dylan & Cole Sprouse for Disney

Alyson Stoner is looking back on their Disney Channel days. More specifically, the actor recalled a time that they had to kiss both Dylan and Cole Sprouse.

If you forgot, the 30-year-old Step Up star played a character named Max on the Sprouse twins’ show The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.

They opened up about the kisses, describing the experience as “uncomfortable,” in a new video.

Alyson discussed their time in the industry in a series of videos called Dear Hollywood on TikTok. One of the clips was about their first kiss, which happened on camera and appears to have been with either Dylan or Cole.

“So writers and executives might decide to make your character do anything on the next episode. And it’s assumed that you’re going to agree to whatever scripted,” Alyson said about being signed to a deal.

They continued, saying, “My first kiss and several of the times I experienced kissing happened on camera.”

For The Suite Life, Alyson said that they booked the show and only learned after that there would be kissing involved.

“Was I ready for that? No. I felt young and uncomfortable,” they said. Despite that, Alyson said that they decided to do the scene. “I felt like, you know, this is part of my job. I chose to act and audition for this project. It’s only a character. So in that way, I justified like, ‘Okay, I can have my kiss here and then I’ll have my own separate first kiss at some point.’”

There are some questions about when the kiss took place. However, People noted that Alyson did kiss one of the twins in an episode of the show.

The actor has previously discussed their experience coming out in Hollywood, revealing that they were fired from a show.
