When Jared Leto took on the role of Joker for Suicide Squad, reports emerged about some of the unorthodox ways he chose to get into character on set.

One of the most memorable rumors was that the actor had sent his co-star Margot Robbie a rat in order to establish chemistry between their two characters.

Margot later discussed the prank in an interview, and Viola Davis also confirmed the story in a recent profile of Margot.

However in an interview with GQ, Jared said rumors he sent the actress a dead rat were “not true,” telling the outlet that he instead gifted Margot vegan cinnamon buns from local bakeries.
