'Jersey Shore' Star Sammi Giancola Reveals She Froze Her Eggs: 'It Sucks to Be a Woman at This Age'

Sammi Giancola is planning for her family’s future.

During a recent episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, the 36-year-old reality star got candid about her decision to freeze her eggs.

“It sucks to be a woman at this age,” Sammi began. “It really is terrible, it’s terrible.”

She elaborated further in a confessional, explaining: “At 36 I thought truthfully I would be like married, with kids, living in some house somewhere, and it’s just not where I’m at right now in my life.”

Sammi went on to say she plans on taking her time, but wants to be smart about planning for the future.

“I’m not rushing it, I don’t want to feel that pressure to do that,” she noted, adding that her current boyfriend Justin May has been very understanding.

“He’s amazing,” she said. “But I don’t want to get older at all.”
