Source Reveals How Sophie Turner & Joe Jonas Were Acting During Family Lunch This Week Before New Lawsuit

Days before Sophie Turner filed a lawsuit against estranged husband Joe Jonas, the pair was spotted out for dinner with their children in New York City.

On Monday (September 18), Joe and Sophie took their older daughter Willa and a younger daughter whose name we do not know to Momofuku Noodle Bar Uptown.

Their outing came nearly two weeks after the Jonas Brothers musician first filed for divorce. At the time, they referred to it as an amicable split in a joint statement.

Days after their meal, Sophie sued Joe and requested that she be able to return with their daughters to England, prompting a response from his legal team.

TMZ obtained photos from their meal and spoke to a source who witnessed them together. While they were unable to report on who had the children when they arrived or if they did so all together, the outlet noted that there were “zero signs of drama.”

Joe and Sophie were described as “amicable.”

It is not immediately clear when the atmosphere between them changed. In the statement from Joe‘s legal team, it was alleged that their talks fell apart “less than 24 hours” after a September 17 discussion. That would have been around the time of their lunch.

One day after their outting, Sophie grabbed dinner with Taylor Swift who famously dated Joe years ago.
