Will Smith Confirms a Sequel for 1 of His Biggest Movies, Seemingly Alludes to Oscars Slap in Speech

Will Smith opened up while onstage at the 2023 Red Sea International Film Festival, which took place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The 55-year-old movie star sat down for a panel discussion about his life and career on Saturday (December 2).

During it, he seemingly alluded to the infamous situation at the 2022 Oscars when he slapped Chris Rock across the face to defend his wife Jada Pinkett Smith.

More directly, Will looked back at his past and revealed the career path he wanted to pursue as a child. Spoiler alert: It definitely wasn’t acting.

He also confirmed plans for a sequel to one of his biggest movies, and another A-list actor will be involved this time around!
