Charlize Theron Named Honorary Co-Chair of WE Day California!

Charlize Theron totally transforms while wearing a platinum blonde wig while filming her new movie The Coldest City on Tuesday (February 9) in Berlin, Germany.

The 40-year-old actress braved the rain to film some outdoor scenes where she hopped into the backseat of a car. The Coldest City is expected to hit theaters sometime later this year.

Charlize was just announced as an honorary co-chair of WE Day California, which will take place on April 7! WE day, which is coming to Los Angeles for the first time, is a celebration of youth making a difference in their local and global communities.

“I believe that everyone has the power within themselves to create change, which is why I’m proud to be a part of WE Day California,” Charlize said. “The WE Day movement helps young leaders break down social barriers to create real solutions to some of the biggest issues we face today.
