Psy hits the stage at the 2012 American Music Awards held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday (November 18) in Los Angeles.

The South Korean Internet sensation closed the show with a performance of his viral hit “Gangnam Style,” and was joined on stage by surprise guest MC Hammer!

“How lucky I am!! Gonna be the Closing of #AMAs!! #HammerTime,” Psy tweeted before taking the stage.

Earlier in the night, Psy hit the red carpet and even took time to sign autographs for fans before heading inside to enjoy the show.

Chris Brown goes shirtless while performing on stage at the 2012 American Music Awards held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday (November 18) in Los Angeles.

The 23-year-old singer, wearing David Yurman rings, was joined by Ludacris and Swizz Beatz to perform the song “Everyday Birthday” at the show.

During the show, Chris lost the awards for Favorite Soul/R&B Artist to Usher and Favorite Soul/R&B Album to Rihanna‘s Talk That Talk.

Pitbull suits up while performing “Don’t Stop the Party” during the 2012 American Music Awards held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday (November 18) in Los Angeles.

Later in his performance, the 31-year-old rapper was joined on stage by Christina Aguilera while performing “Feel This Moment.”

Before performing, Pitbull posted a picture of himself and tweeted, “ya tu sabes!!!!! right b4 I hit the stage #AMAs.” Check out the picture below!

Pitbull was nominated for Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist at American Music Awards, with Justin Bieber walking home with the win.

Kelly Rowland and Colbie Caillat hit the red carpet at the 2012 American Music Awards held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday (November 18) in Los Angeles.

Kelly, 31, and Colbie, 38, stunned during their arrivals and were joined by Lady Antebellum‘s Hillary Scott, 25.

Hillary‘s band Lady Antebellum won the award for Favorite Country Band/Duo/Group during the show, and Kelly presented the Electronic Dance Music Award to winner David Guetta.

Carrie Underwood hits the stage at the 2012 American Music Awards held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday (November 18) in Los Angeles.

The 29-year-old singer performed her hit single “Two Black Cadillacs.”

Carrie was nominated for two awards this evening, and the singer took home the Favorite Country Album Award for her latest record Blown Away. Congrats Carrie!

Earlier in the night, Carrie was joined by her husband Mike Fisher as she rocked the red carpet in a purple Abed Mahfouz dress.

Justin Bieber serenades the crowd with his hit song “As Long As You Love Me” during the 2012 American Music Awards held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday (November 18) in Los Angeles.

After the acoustic performance, the 18-year-old singer was joined by Nicki Minaj while they performed their new single “Beauty and a Beat.”

Earlier in the night, Justin won Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist and Favorite Pop/Rock Album for his recent album Believe.
