James Middleton, the younger brother of Duchess Kate Middleton, shaved his beard for the first time in 7 years to surprise his fiancee Alizee Thevenet. The pair were supposed to get married this month, but postponed due to Coronavirus.

“Seeing as Alizee and myself were due to get married, well actually this month…she’s never seen me without a beard,” the 33-year-old wrote on Instagram. “So I thought it was about time I showed her what was behind it. In fact, what I’m most worried about is these guys [his numerous dogs] might not recognize me afterwards. Say goodbye.”

James then shaved his beard off while shirtless and showed his fiancee – who was shocked!

James Middleton and French fiancee Alizee Thevent cancelled their upcoming wedding due the current health crisis.

The 32-year-old younger brother of Duchess Kate Middleton has decided to postpone his upcoming summer wedding out of concern about the well-being of their traveling guests.

“It’s very sad, but it’s just not practical to hold it in this crisis,” one of his friends shared with The Daily Mail.

“Holding an AngloFrench wedding is impossible in the coming months and is still likely to be difficult in the summer,” the friend continued. “They would prefer to wait until all their guests are able — and happy — to attend.”

James and Alizee confirmed back in October 2019 that they were engaged after a year of dating.

A few days before, Kate and husband Prince William met with people working on the frontlines in London of the virus pandemic.

James Middleton goes for a swim in the ocean as he enjoys a day at the beach on Saturday afternoon (January 4) in St. Barts.

The 32-year-old entrepreneur put his toned physique on display while wearing a blue and white bathing suit as he soaked up the sun on vacation.

The siblings were joined on the vacation by their significant others – Pippa‘s husband James Matthews and James‘ fiancee Alizee Thevenet – as well as their parents.

Siblings Pippa and James Middleton spent the day at the beach with their family on Monday afternoon (December 30) in St. Barts.

Pippa showed off her fit figure in a gray bikini as she was spotted running into the ocean for a quick swim.

Back on the sand, a shirtless James was spotted hanging out with fiancee Alizee Thevenet, in a black and white-striped bathing suit, and mom Carole Middleton in an orange bikini.

Pippa‘s husband James Matthews (not pictured) was all seen spending the day at the beach.

While Pippa and James were vacationing in St. Barth, their older sister Kate Middleton has been spending time with husband Prince William and their kids in England.
