The 33-year-old newly engaged singer was also featured on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest that evening, where she performed her song “Put It Down”. Check out the performance below!

The 33-year-old entertainer stepped out one day after her engagement announcement to her music executive beau Ryan Press!

Brandy is reportedly engaged to her music executive beau Ryan Press!

“They are thrilled and happy and Brandy feels this is so right,” a source told Us Weekly.

Marriage has certainly been on Brandy‘s mind this past year.

“I keep hearing about a ring. People keep calling me, hinting to me about it, but I don’t know,” Brandy told Sister2Sister magazine over the summer. “I’m going to be patient and let it happen and just let it be. . . I guess it will happen when it’s the right time.”

Congratulations to the happy couple, if the news is true!

Brandy, Ellie Kemper, and Amber Riley arrive at the 2012 VH1 Divas held at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (December 16) in Los Angeles.

Brandy shows off her sexy curves on Vibe Vixen magazine’s November 2012 issue.

Here’s what the 33-year-old singer had to share with the mag:

On making Two Eleven strictly an R&B album: “That’s what my fans wanted from me. I felt like that was my way to reintroduce myself to them and introduce myself to people that don’t even know me. They’re supporting me and it feels good.”

On the importance of voting: “So many have gone through so much, especially African Americans, to get the opportunity to vote. I remember my first time voting. My mom took me and held my hand. It gives you a voice on what you want and what you need. I think it’s so important for us to get out there and vote. That’s all I can really say about it.”

On making a tribute song for Whitney Houston: “I don’t think I’m ready for that yet. It’s really about the overall purpose, which is music. I remember her telling me, ‘Nobody can be you so don’t try to be something other than you. Be yourself and stay true to that.’ That was the last thing she said to me. That was the last time I heard her voice.”
