John Krasinski smiles for the cameras while attending a panel discussion at the Cinema Cafe held during the 2016 Sundance Film Festival on Sunday (January 24) in Park City, UT.

The 36-year-old actor was joined by Joshy star Thomas Middleditch.

John was recently asked about the Academy’s membership changes in an effort to increase diversity.

“Pushing diversity forward is not only a major step that we all need to take, but it’s a responsibility that we should be doing all around,” John told THR. “So as disappointing as I think it is to hear about the Oscars and the lack of diversity in the announcements, i think it’s a nice call to arms for the rest of our business to be talking about what movies we’re making, who we’re allowing to direct that, who we’re allowing to be in the stories we’re trying to tell.”

Billy Crystal and Josh Gad hit the stage for The Comedians panel during the FX Networks portion of the Television Critics Association press tour held at the Langham Hotel on Sunday (January 18) in Pasadena, Calif.

Also at the TCA panels were Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll stars Denis Leary, Elizabeth Gillies, and John Corbett, Louis‘ Louis CK, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia‘s Charlie Day, Danny DeVito and more, and Man Seeking Woman‘s Jay Baruchel, among others.

At the panel, Billy created some controversies with his views on homosexual interaction on television.

“Sometimes I think, ‘Ah that’s too much for me,’” Billy, who played television’s first openly gay character on the 1970s sitcom Soap shared. “I did it in front of a live audience and there were times when I would say to Bob [Seagren], ‘I love you,’ and the audience would laugh nervously. I wanted to stop the taping and go, ‘What is your problem?’”

“Sometimes, it’s just pushing it a little too far for my taste and I’m not going to reveal to you which ones they are,” Billy added.

Jennifer Aniston hits the black carpet at the Horrible Bosses 2 premiere at TCL Chinese Theatre on Thursday evening (November 20) in Hollywood.

Here is the synopsis: Fed up with answering to higher-ups, Nick (Bateman), Dale (Day) and Kurt (Sudeikis) decide to become their own bosses by launching their own business. But a slick investor soon pulls the rug out from under them. Outplayed and desperate, and with no legal recourse, the three would-be entrepreneurs hatch a misguided plan to kidnap the investor’s adult son and ransom him to regain control of their company.
