Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is closing.
The hotel, which carried a steep price of thousands a night for visitors to enjoy an immersive Star Wars experience, is shutting down this September, the company confirmed on Thursday (May 18).
“Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is one of our most creative projects ever and has been praised by our Guests and recognized for setting a new bar for innovation and immersive entertainment,” the company said.

Disney is announcing some new additions!
Chairman of Disney Parks Experiences and Products Josh D’Amaro made a presentation at D23 Expo on Sunday (September 11), and it included appearances from Mark Ruffalo, Jon Favreau and Marvel boss Kevin Feige, via Deadline.
The Marvel head declared: “We’re bringing the Multiverse to Avengers Campus.”

D23 Expo is going to be huge.
The Walt Disney Company‘s upcoming annual fan event arrives in September, and there’s going to be a ton of different panels celebrating all things Disney, Disney Parks, Disney Animation and Marvel.
The updated schedule also includes panels for fan-favorites, including Dancing With the Stars, The Simpsons and Bob’s Burgers.
The event takes place from September 9-11 on five different stages at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.
Disney will also be celebrating its 100th anniversary, called Disney100, and it’ll kick off at the D23 Expo. The event will be livestreamed at D23Expo.com and the convention’s YouTube, Facebook and Twitter accounts. (The event is already sold-out.)
