The beloved musical Spamalot is returning to Broadway this season and the first photos of the cast have been released!

James Monroe Iglehart, Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer, Christopher Fitzgerald, and Ethan Slater are leading the cast of the Monty Python musical.

Also starring are Taran Killam, Jimmy Smagula, Michael Urie, and Nik Walker.

The musical, featuring a book and lyrics by Eric Idle, is “lovingly ripped off” from the classic movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail. “Everything that makes a great knight in the theatre is here, from flying cows to killer rabbits, British royalty to French taunters, dancing girls, rubbery shrubbery, and of course, the Lady of the Lake,” the synopsis reads.

Performances begin at the St. James Theatre on October 31 ahead of opening night on November 16.

Ethan, best known for playing the title role in the SpongeBob SquarePants musical, will be seen in the upcoming movie musical Wicked and he’s currently dating co-star Ariana Grande.

Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater appear to be going strong as a couple despite all of the drama surrounding their relationship.

The 30-year-old singer and the 31-year-old Broadway actor, who met while filming the upcoming movie version of the musical Wicked, were just spotted during a trip to Disney World.

The gossip account @DeuxMoi has obtained photos and videos of Ariana and Ethan walking around the Florida park over the weekend.

Ethan Slater returned to Instagram after the major headlines made back in July 2023.

If you don’t know, a few weeks back, it was discovered that Ethan, 31, was dating his Wicked co-star Ariana Grande. Reports indicated that Ethan had broken up with his wife, Lilly Jay, before beginning the relationship with Ariana. Ethan and Lilly have one son together, who was born in the summer of 2022.

When news broke that Ariana and Ethan were dating while he was still technically married (he filed for divorce in late July 2023), a lot of attention was brought on the couple.

Ethan made his Instagram private and both he and Ariana have kept relatively quiet about their relationship status. The only Ethan related news that broke was that he’s set to star in the Broadway revival of Spamalot.

Now, Ethan has made his Instagram public again and it appears as if Ariana is supporting him.

There’s been a small update on Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater.

If you don’t know, the 30-year-old superstar and the 31-year-old actor – who met on the set of Wicked where they play Glinda and Boq – are reportedly a couple. They both recently split from their spouses – Dalton Gomez and Lilly Jay. Ariana and Dalton got married in May of 2021 and Ethan and his wife had celebrated four years of marriage in November 2022. They share a son, born in August 2022.
