Ricky Martin hits the red carpet alongside husband Jwan Yosef while attending The Virgin Holidays’ 2018 Attitude Awards held at The Roundhouse on Thursday (October 11) in London, England.

The 46-year-old Latin singer was joined at the event by Adam Rippon and his boyfriend Jussi-Pekka Kajaala, Idris Elba, Little Mix‘s Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jess Glynne, Tituss Burgess, Andy Cohen, Whoopi Goldberg and George Takei.

Also in attendance was Pixie Lott and fiance Oliver Cheshire, Courtney Act, Gigi Gorgeous, Mollie King, Boy George, Michelle Visage, Jodie Harsh and David Furnish.

Ricky was honored with the Legend Award, while Adam took home the Sport Award, George with the Icon Award, Boy George and Culture Club with the Music Icon Award, Courtney with the Hero Award, Tituss with the Culture Award and Jess with the Music Award.

Rooney Mara and boyfriend Joaquin Phoenix hit the red carpet separate for the premiere of their new movie Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Away on Foot on Wednesday night (July 11) at the ArcLight Hollywood Theater in Hollywood, Calif.

The co-stars and real-life couple looked stylish in coordinating black outfits as they were joined at the premiere by their co-star Jack Black and director Gus Van Sant.

Other stars stepping out for the premiere included Jay and Mark Duplass, George Takei, Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke, La La Land director Damien Chazelle director and wife Olivia Hamilton, and Katrina Bowden.

Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Far on Foot hits theaters on Friday, July 13.

George Takei is speaking out about the sexual assault allegations against him, after a new investigative article was released.

The now 81-year-old actor was accused of making an unwanted advance on former model Scott R. Brunton while he was passed out after the men had dinner together in 1981.

The new article questioned the inconsistencies in Scott‘s story, after he admitted to not remembering if George physically touched him.

“As many of you know, this has been a very difficult period for myself and my husband Brad as we have dealt with the impact of these accusations, but we are happy to see that this nightmare is finally drawing to a close. As I stated before, I do not remember Mr. Brunton or any of the events he described from forty years ago, but I do understand that this was part of a very important national conversation that we as a society must have, painful as it might be,” George wrote on his Twitter.

He added, “It is in that spirit that I want folks to know, despite what he has put us through, I do not bear Mr. Brunton any ill will, and I wish him peace. Brad and I are especially grateful for the many fans who stood by me throughout this ordeal. Your support kept us going, and we are so immensely thankful for you.”

George Takei is speaking out to deny allegations of sexual assault made against him by former model Scott R. Brunton.

Brunton says the incident happened in 1981, when he and Takei became friends. When he went to the former Star Trek actor’s apartment one night for drinks, he claims he felt dizzy and passed out, later waking up with his pants around his ankles and Takei groping his crotch and trying to get his underwear off.

Takei, an outspoken advocate for the LGBT community throughout the years, denies that the incident ever happened and says he doesn’t remember Mr. Brunton.

“The events he describes back in the 1980s simply did not occur, and I do not know why he has claimed them now. I have wracked my brain to ask if I remember Mr. Brunton, and I cannot say I do,” he wrote in a series of tweets. Read them all below.

George Takei has been accused of trying to take advantage of an unconscious male model back in 1981.

Scott R. Brunton says he was an aspiring model and actor when he met George in the early 80s.

The men became friends and after Scott broke up with his boyfriend, he and George went out for an evening of dinner and the theater before heading back to George‘s home.

“All of a sudden, I begin feeling very disoriented and dizzy, and I thought I was going to pass out. I said I need to sit down and he said sit over here and he had the giant yellow beanbag chair. So I sat down in that and leaned my head back and I must have passed out,” Scott told THR.

He added, “The next thing I remember I was coming to and he had my pants down around my ankles and he was groping my crotch and trying to get my underwear off and feeling me up at the same time, trying to get his hands down my underwear.”

Scott immediately left the home. He met up with George years after the incident but said it was too uncomfortable to bring up the situation.

Scott says he is looking for an apology from George.

Anyone hoping to place their vote for George Takei in the upcoming congressional race will be disappointed to hear that he was actually joking when he said he would run for office.

The legendary Star Trek actor said on March 31 that he would run for Congress in 2018 against Republican Devin Nunes for a the seat in California’s 22nd District.

Celebs like Sophia Bush and Mark Ruffalo tweeted their support for Takei after he made his announcement.

On April Fools’ Day, George tweeted, “No, I’m not running for Congress. Happy 4/1! But Jon Ossoff is on 4/18. Help him win at http://electjon.com . Let’s flip Congress in ’18.”
