'Rugrats' & 'Hey Arnold!' Could Be Rebooted by Nickelodeon

Nickelodeon is reportedly getting ready to reboot a bunch of classic shows and Rugrats and Hey Arnold! could be two of them.

“We are looking at our library to bring back ideas, shows that were loved, in a fresh new way,” Russell Hicks, the network’s president of content and development, told Variety. “We are getting ready to bring back some of the ones they’ve told us multiple times they want to have brought back.”

Hicks has not revealed which ones will be brought back, but it is being speculated that You Can’t Do That on Television and Victorious could be rebooted in addition to the previously mentioned shows. The exec notes that the generation that grew up with these shows now has children of its own.
