CBS has canceled the summer drama series Zoo after three seasons on the air.

The series, based on the book by James Patterson, followed the aftermath of violent animal attacks against humans.

This is the longest-running scripted drama series to air on CBS during the summer months, but unfortunately viewership decreased to an average of 2.65 million viewers for season three, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Zoo starred James Wolk, Kristen Connolly, Nonso Anozie, and Billy Burke. We’re looking forward to seeing what they decide to do next!

James Wolk has announced some exciting news – he and his wife Elizabeth Jae Byrd have welcomed their first child into the world!

The 31-year-old Zoo actor revealed the news on social media by sharing the first photo of his newborn son Charlie.

“Welcome to the world, Charlie Wolk. #babyboy #CharlieWolk #wolkpartyof3,” James captioned the below pic on Instagram.

The couple got married back in June 2015. They have been sharing the pregnancy with his fans for months, including an adorable photo in which James read the book “Oh, Baby, the Places You’ll Go” to Elizabeth‘s baby bump.

The 30-year-old former Gossip Girl star was joined on the red carpet by fellow actresses Sophia Bush and Minka Kelly.

Other stars spotted arriving at the after party were Mark Duplass and his wife Katie Aselton along with Zoo actor James Wolk.

The 36-year-old actor is joining the cast of NCIS for the upcoming season to fill the void left by Michael Weatherly, but he says his character is not the new Tony.”

“[Weatherly] had a fantastic journey with the show. The truth is there’s no shoes to fill, I’m definitely wearing my own,” Wilmer told EW. “I’m excited because as a new member of NCIS I get to bring a new energy to it, a different dynamic.”

Also in attendance at the panel were MacGyver stars Lucas Till and George Eads, Zoo‘s James Wolk, and American Gothic‘s Justin Chatwin.

Katharine McPhee, Jake McDorman, and Mike Vogel hit the press line while attending the CBS Television Studios panel during 2015 Comic-Con on Thursday (July 9) at the Hilton Bayfront in San Diego, Calif.

Also in attendance at the event were Katharine‘s Scorpion co-stars Elyes Gabel, Robert Patrick, Eddie Kaye Thomas, and Jadyn Wong, Jake‘s Limitless co-star Hill Harper, and Mike‘s Under the Dome co-stars Colin Ford and Marg Helgenberger.

Zoo stars James Wolk, Billy Burke, Kristen Connolly, and Nora Arnezeder also stopped by to promote their new summer series.

James Wolk and his girlfriend Elizabeth Jae Byrd have tied the knot!

The 30-year-old Mad Men actor and his longtime love exchanged vows two weeks ago at a winery in Los Olivos, Calif, according to Us Weekly.

“My Mrs. Wolk,” James captioned a wedding pic on Instagram.

Earlier this year, James chatted about the engagement, saying to Harper’s Bazaar, “I had an elaborate plan that kind of folded in on itself, so I did it the old-fashioned way: We took our dog for a walk, and I had the ring tucked into my waist because I didn’t want it to bulge out of my pocket. There was no way I was taking that ring out of the box until it was on her finger — that’s the scariest thing, as a guy, is having that ring in your possession.”

“You’re like, ‘When am I going to lose this?’ Because, personally, I lose everything. So we were on a walk with the dog at sunset, and I just got down on a knee,” James added.
