Jenny Slate hits the red carpet at the premiere of The Sunlit Night held during the 2019 Sundance Film Festival on Saturday night (January 26) at the Eccles Center Theatre in Park City, Utah.

The 36-year-old actress kept things cool in a black coat over a white blouse and black jeans as she was joined at the premiere by co-stars Zach Galifianakis and Alex Sharp along with author of The Sunlit Night Rebecca Dinerstein.

Earlier in the day, the stars stopped by to chat with Kevin Smith at the IMDb Studio about the film before Jenny made an appearance at the Pizza Hut Lounge.

Tom Hardy‘s Venom scored a massive debut at the weekend box office, earning over $80 million!

The film actually set a box office record with the best October opening of all time – the title was previously held by George Clooney and Sandra Bullock‘s Gravity, which previously made $55.7 million a few years back.

Meanwhile, A Star Is Born also opened this weekend to huge number…approximately $42.6 million from 3,686 theater locations. Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper star in the must-see film.

Rounding out the top five movies at this weekend’s box office are Smallfoot, Night School and The House With A Clock In Its Walls, which earned $14.9, $12.2, and $7.2 million, respectively.

Jenny Slate is celebrating Big Mouth‘s second season!

The 36-year-old actress stepped out to promote the animated series at 2018 New York Comic-Con on Friday (October 5) in New York City.

She was also joined by her cast mates John Mulaney, Fred Armisen, Jack McBrayer, Jason Mantzoukas, Jessi Klein and Jaboukie Young-White.

The show’s creators Nick Kroll, Jennifer Flackett, Mark Levin and Andrew Goldberg were also in attendance.

The animated Netflix series follows a group of teenage friends as they find their lives upended by the wonders and horrors of puberty.

Jenny Slate stopped made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday night (October 1) and revealed she once feared she had “mouth rot” after eating too many potato chips.

The 36-year-old Venom star shared that she feels like she is now firmly in her “adulthood” and is trying to “pull back” from smoking marijuana “constantly” after she recently got so high that she didn’t realize she had cut her mouth while snacking on chips.

“I smoked the weed, I ate a bunch of potato chips, and I was putting them in really quickly because it was more than the munchies… and one went in the long way and I was like, ‘Owww!’ And then I passed out because I’m weak,” Jenny recalled. “I wake up the next morning, I’d forgotten about the chip accident. So, I was like, ‘I have mouth rot, that’s what this is.’ There was a wound, I couldn’t see it.”

Jenny then made an appointment at a new dental office and was introduced to her very handsome dentist: “Every dentist I remember from Massachusetts is like 90 years old, from my synagogue and has a hammer. And I get there and the door opens and I hear, ‘So I hear there is an emergency.’ And immediately I’m like, ‘He’s hot.’ I knew it. And my whole body was like, ‘Woah, there is a hot person and he just came into the room,’” Jenny said – Watch the full interview below!

Here’s what the 36-year-old actress had to share with the mag:

On making changes in her personal and professional life: “I’ve made mistakes before in work and in personal relationships where I’ve just been like, ‘I just want to be here so badly, that I will look past this glaring issue that I do not like.’ And that makes me feel uncomfortable. I would not be able to metabolize that thing that I didn’t like. It would just sit in me like a stone…It would burn me up from the inside out, and then I would reach a point where I still hadn’t processed it, until I would be like, ‘Why am I sitting here on this job? Or, Why am I sitting across from this person?’ I’m not serving them, and they’re not serving me.”

On her relationship status: “I’m a real love bug. I really want to have a partner. And I don’t necessarily love going to sleep alone, but it’s something that I’ve had to teach myself how to do.”

On the important reason she cut her hair short: “I looked at myself in the mirror and thought, ‘I actually don’t know why I have long hair.’ And this is such a stupid thing, but then I was like, ‘I do know why I have long hair: Because I heard a man—who I was actually kind of afraid of—say he didn’t find women with short hair attractive.’ It made me feel sad.”
