Maya Rudolph and Julie Bowen have signed on to join Adam Sandler in his Netflix next project, an untitled Halloween comedy which will feature an all-star cast!

The 46-year-old Wine Country star and the 49-year-old Modern Family actress will star in the production alongside Kevin James, Ray Liotta, Steve Buscemi, Rob Schneider, Michael Chiklis and Kenan Thompson.

Steve Brill is directing the Happy Madison Productions film from a screenplay by Adam and Tim Herlihy, according to Deadline. The plot follows Hubie Dubois who, despite his devotion to his hometown of Salem, Massachusetts (and its legendary Halloween celebration), is a figure of mockery for kids and adults alike. But this year, something really is going bump in the night, and it’s up to Hubie to save Halloween.

Adam Sandler most recently starred alongside Jennifer Aniston in Murder Mystery, which was watched by over 30M accounts in its opening weekend, making it the biggest opening weekend for a Netflix film.

The cast of Modern Family teams up for the 2019 ABC Disney Television Upfront Presentation!

The co-stars stepped out for the event held at Lincoln Center on Tuesday (May 14) in New York City.

Ed O’Neill, Sofia Vergara, Ty Burrell, Julie Bowen, Sarah Hyland, Jesse Tyler Fergussion, Ariel Winter, Nolan Gould, Eric Stonestreet, Jeremy Maguire, and Aubrey Anderson-Emmons posed for photos and took the stage together.

This week, Disney is presenting the new 2019-2020 lineups for ABC, ABC News, Freeform, ESPN, FX, and National Geographic to the advertising and media communities.

The 11th and final season of Modern Family will premiere later this year!

Julie Bowen makes an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, airing on Monday (May 6), and gushes about Blake Shelton after pranking him on the talk-show last week.

The 49-year-old actress tells Ellen that Blake was “so sweet. I am now a fan of his,” she says. “I knew him a little bit before but now I’m a fan, and I scared him. I feel bonded.”

Blake then gets his revenge on Julie, as Ellen gets a staff member to dress up as the Country hit-maker to hide in a box and scare her.

Ellen DeGeneres reallllly wants Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani to get married.

During his interview on Ellen, the host gifted the 42-year-old country rocker with a clock that has both his and Gwen‘s faces on it as a pre-engagement present.

“Now that she [Gwen] sees this and is waiting for you to ask her,” Ellen explains. “She’s now going to flip it and ask you to marry her.”

Blake and Gwen have been together since 2015 after meeting on The Voice. Last weekend, Gwen and her three kids supported Blake at the premiere of his new movie UglyDolls.

Also during the show, Blake got a surprise from Modern Family star Julie Bowen!

Nikki Reed and Rosario Dawson happily strike a pose together while hitting the red carpet for the Power On premiere by Straight Up Films with support from YouTube held at Google Playa Vista Office on Wednesday night (April 24) in Playa Vista, Calif.

The two ladies were joined at the event by Julie Bowen, Jenna Ortega, Lisa Edelstein, Ana Brenda Contreras, as well as producers Marisa Polvino and Ngoc Nguyen.

The Power On film series was first announced in December 2017, and spearheads an initiative that pairs prominent men and women working together to inspire girls in computer sciences.

Nikki and Rosario are two of five female directors, along with Julie, Ana and Lisa, who have come together to create films that empower young girls to create technology.

Julie Bowen hit Busy Philipps‘ couch on Busy Tonight on Monday (December 17) and talked about whether there will be another season of Modern Family.

“I think that there is. I’ve been told that there is, ya know,” the 48-year-old actress revealed. “The ink is not dry but I have very positive feelings about it. And I’m never positive so if I’m feeling sort of positive.”

“Yeah. I don’t, I don’t, I don’t gleefully go for optimism, I’m like ‘hmm, maybe,’ but I think this is pretty good,” Julie continued.
