Death on the Nile, the mystery based on the book from Agatha Christie, has started filming and the full, star-studded cast list has been revealed!

Annette Bening, Russell Brand, Ali Fazal, Dawn French, Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Rose Leslie, Emma Mackey, Sophie Okonedo, Jennifer Saunders, and Letitia Wright are all set to star. Kenneth Branagh returns as director and will also star as famed Belgian detective Hercule Poirot.

This film reunites the team of filmmakers behind the 2017 global hit Murder on the Orient Express.

The film will hit theaters on October 9, 2020!

Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Kenneth Branagh are taking on exciting new roles.

The two stars will appear in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film, Tenet, which was revealed on Wednesday (May 22).

Clémence Poésy, Dimple Kapadia and Michael Caine are also joining the cast, which is led by John David Washington. More stars include Elizabeth Debicki and Robert Pattinson.

The upcoming film is being shot on location across seven countries. Few details are known yet, but it is being described as “an action epic evolving from the world of international espionage.”

Christopher is directing from his own screenplay and will use a mix of Imax and 70mm film.

The movie will hit theaters on July 17, 2020.

Murder on the Orient Express has a sequel in the works!

The adventures of Hercule Poirot will continue with an on-screen adaptation of Death on the Nile, according to THR.

This will be the second Agatha Christie novel to hit the big screen, with the script once again being penned by Michael Green

Oscar nominee Kenneth Branagh is also expected to return as director and to reprise his role as Poirot.

Death on the Nile was first published in 1937 and follows the detective who becomes involved in a love triangle gone murderously bad while on vacation in Egypt.

The book was previously turned into a film in 1978.

Murder on the Orient Express, which Kenneth directed in addition to starring in, will be released in theaters on November 10.

Josh Gad and Kenneth Branagh keep it dapper in their suits as they join their co-stars at a special photo call for their anticipated film Murder on the Orient Express held at St Pancras Station on Thursday (November 2) in London, England.

The 36-year-old actor and Kenneth, 56, were joined by their fellow castmates Tom Bateman, Leslie Odom Jr., Sergei Polunin and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as they promoted the flick.

Also directed by Kenneth himself, from the novel by best selling author Agatha Christie, Murder on the Orient Express tells the tale of thirteen strangers stranded on a train, where everyone’s a suspect.
