At the event, Ross received the male breakout award and rapper and comedian Awkwafina received the female breakout award. Daniel and Grace were awarded the BMW’s Ultimate Drive award.

The couple was joined by LA-based families for the Good+ Foundation’s 2nd Annual Halloween Bash at The Culver Studios on Sunday (October 22) in Culver City, Calif.

“The Halloween Bash is always one of our favorite days of the year because it allows families to spend a fun afternoon together while supporting our work to provide for families here in Los Angeles,” said Jessica, who founded the Good+ Foundation.

Guests included Ike Barinholtz and Erica Hanson, Jordana Brewster & Andrew Form, Lisa Ling, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr., Marsai Martin, Sarah Jane Morris, Raegan Revord, Aubrey Anderson Emmons, Albert Tsai, Alyvia Alyn Lind and Ilaria Urbinati.

The event, which featured activity booths, games and delicious treats, raised nearly $300,000 to benefit the foundation’s work to lift families out of poverty in the Los Angeles area.

Gabrielle was honored alongside Lea Michele by the organization which believes all girls should have the opportunity to fulfill their potential.

“I started telling myself I was dope, fly and amazing. I am worthy by birthright,” Gabrielle said to the crowd while accepting her honor.

Barbara Walters is regal in red on the carpet at the Celebration of Barbara Walters Cocktail Reception held at the Four Seasons Restaurant on Wednesday evening (May 14) in New York City.

The event was held two days prior to her final episode on The View, which will air tomorrow morning at 11:00am EST on ABC.

Barbara was joined at the event by her current co-hosts Jenny McCarthy (with fiance Donnie Wahlberg), Sherri Shepherd, and Whoopi Goldberg, as well as former co-hosts Joy Behar, Meredith Vieira, Lisa Ling, Star Jones, and Debbie Matenopoulos.

American journalists Laura Ling and Euna Lee have been sentenced to 12 years in labor prison by North Korea’s Central Court.

The Korean Central News Agency said on Monday the pair, who were working for former Vice President Al Gore‘s California-based Current TV, were convicted for the “grave crime they committed against the Korean nation and their illegal border crossing. [The court] sentenced each of them to 12 years of reform through labor.”

Laura (pictured right) is the sister of Lisa Ling (pictured left), former co-host of The View.

Lisa made public pleas for their release on Wednesday on Anderson Cooper 360: “When the girls left the United States, they never intended to cross into North Korean soil. And if they did at any point, we apologize. And we know that they are very, very sorry. And we ask that you show mercy today.”
