Matt Bomer, Vanessa Bayer & Blythe Danner Set to Return for 'Will & Grace' Final Season!

Will & Grace may be coming to an end again, but there’s still plenty to look forward to!

It has just been confirmed that Matt Bomer, Vanessa Bayer and Blythe Danner are all set to return for the final 2020 season – the third season after the reboot, according to The Wrap.

All three actors have recurring roles, with Matt Bomer coming back as Will’s (Eric McCormack) boyfriend, McCoy Whitman, Vanessa Bayer returning as Amy, a bakery owner from Karen’s (Megan Mullally) past, and Blythe Danner reprising her role as Will’s mother, Marilyn Truman.

Last month, NBC revealed the Will & Grace revival would end with its upcoming third season. The show originally ran from 1998 to 2006, followed by a successful relaunch in 2017.

The final season will be 18-episodes and debuts in 2020, with a premiere date to be announced at a later date.

'Will & Grace' To End After Upcoming 2020 Season

Will & Grace is coming to an end again.

The long-running series, which co-stars Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullaly, will end after its 2020 season – the third season after the reboot.

The show originally ran from 1998 to 2006, followed by a successful relaunch in 2017.

“We think of the Will & Grace reboot episodes the way Karen Walker thinks of martinis – 51 is not enough, 53 is too many. That is why, after consulting with the cast, we all have decided this will be the final season of Will & Grace,” producers said in a statement on Thursday (July 25).

“In 2016, Bob Greenblatt came to us with the idea of doing a 10-episode reboot of Will & Grace. They say you can’t go home again, but we did. And now, three seasons and 52 episodes later, we’re even more proud of something we never thought we’d get a chance to do again. We have had a once-in-a-lifetime experience twice. And for that, we owe a double debt of gratitude to NBC, this show’s supportive and caring home since day one.”

The premiere date for the third and final season of the reboot has not yet been revealed.

X-Men's Sophie Turner Wants to Do a Dark Phoenix Spinoff

Sophie Turner, Dominic Cooper, and Gemma Arterton pose for photos during day two of the Audi Polo Challenge on Sunday (May 29) at Coworth Park in London, England.

Other stars in attendance at the event included Clive Owen, Megan Mullally and husband Nick Offerman, model Laura Whitmore, and singer Nina Nesbitt.

Prince William and Prince Harry both played in the match!

Sophie recently told USA Today that she’d like to do a Dark Phoenix spinoff for her X-Men: Apocalypse character Jean Grey.

“It’s kind of set up for it in [Apocalypse] – you see hints of Phoenix. And it’s really exciting that we’re kind of exploring this good Phoenix at the moment and we’re not doing the Dark Phoenix. There are so many ways we can go with the character, and with these super-strong powers that she has, they should make a Dark Phoenix saga. [But] let’s hope I’ll be a good superhero for a while,” Sophie said.
