Penelope Cruz is all smiles as she hits the red carpet at the 2020 Feroz Awards held at Teatro Auditorio Ciudad de Alcobendas on Thursday (January 16) in Madrid, Spain.
The 45-year-old Oscar-winning actress was nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category for her performance in Pedro Almodóvar‘s film Pain and Glory, and also got support from her younger sister Monica Cruz.
“It is a very special night,” Penelope‘s sister Monica said, “it’s shaking things up for me, we were raised here, it’s the place we have been living for a long time.”
Pedro Almodóvar, comfortably came out on top with Pain & Glory, which bagged six trophies: Best Drama Film, Best Supporting Actress (Julieta Serrano), Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Lead Actor (Antonio Banderas) and Best Original Score (Alberto Iglesias, who previously snagged the same prize exactly one year ago, for Quién te cantará).
