Nadya Suleman, aka Octomom, leaves her new house with her children and one of her nannies on Friday (March 20) in La Habra, Calif.

In her latest video blog, Suleman admitted she’s in denial about her life.

“I’m using denial…it’s a defense mechanism,” Suleman says while playing with her child Isaiah. “I keep telling my head and rationalizing over and over that next week that [interest in my life] is going to die down.”

“My goal is to write a book and everything will be disclosed in that,” Suleman also says. “Since it’s me and I’m single, [people are saying] ‘How on earth could she handle it,’” she says. “It’s going to take a long time to prove not only to myself but to the world I can be a very good mother and I can take care of these children.”

Nadya Suleman goes to Knotts Berry Farm with her two older sons on Saturday (March 14) in Buena Park, Calif.

Suleman then spent her Sunday afternoon without her kids at Hi Top Nail Salon in Whittier, California. Last week, Suleman went to her new La Habra home to find a yard full of toilet paper. If her new house gets approval from the hospital, the first two of her octuplets could arrive home on Tuesday.

“I’m elated by all the help I’ve been getting,” Suleman, 33, told People. “I want everyone to know how thankful I am.”

Nadya Suleman, aka Octomom, goes out to do some shopping for diapers, baby formula, and baby food at Target on Wednesday (March 11) in Fullerton, Calif.

The 33-year-old mother said in a video posted online Wednesday that she is paying for the four-bedroom, three-bath home, not her parents as the house’s listing agent said. Representatives of Kaiser Permanente Bellflower Medical Center inspected the new house, which listed for $564,900, to ensure the safety of the children when they are released.

“We’re just continuing to work with the family and make sure they’re set and ready for when the babies come home,” Elizabeth Trombley, a hospital spokeswoman said during the visit. Gloria Allred who represents Angels in Waiting, said they will provide training for Suleman and hired nannies.

Nadya Suleman, aka Octomom, is spotted leaving a taping of the Dr. Phil Show on Monday (March 9) in Whittier, Calif.

At the taping of Dr. Phil that will air tomorrow and Wednesday, Suleman announced she would accept an offer from Angels in Waiting to help raise her 14 children. “Nadya realized that she had to make every effort to care for the octuplets as well as the six children at home in a way that proved that she understood the enormity and complexity of the task ahead, Dr. Phil said in a statement.

“The childcare will be completely transparent, so that Kaiser Permanente and Child Protective Services will see that Nadya is seriously committed to her family,” the statement went on to say. Angels in Waiting estimates that it will cost $135,000 a month to care 24 hours a day for Suleman‘s eight babies
