Duncan Jones and his wife Rodene Ronquillo have welcomed their first child, a son named Stenton David Jones!

The 45-year-old Warcraft director named his son after his late dad, David Bowie.

“Stenton David Jones. Born July 10th, exactly six months after his granddad made room for him. Love you both so,” Duncan tweeted.

“All my love and awe to the incredible @rodeneronquillo who made a human being in her belly. Warrior woman & every day, my hero,” he added as a tribute to his wife.

The 44-year-old British director, and son of the late David Bowie, took to Twitter to announce the exciting news, one month after his father’s death.

“1 month since dad died today. Made this card for him at Christmas. Due in June. Circle of life. Love you, grandad,” Duncan wrote.

He later added, “& the best news, if you’ve been a fan of my “directors as babies”, I’ll now have access to my own, poseable model!”

Rodene wrote, “Shame on those of you who just thought I was really fat and didn’t say anything. HAHA. ;)”
