The 36-year-old has been at the lake as search efforts have continued for his ex wife, Naya Rivera. Ryan was also seen with Naya‘s father, George that morning. A body was discovered in the lake on Monday (July 13) and we’re awaiting word if it is Naya. A press conference will be taking place shortly.

Amid all of these reports of a body found, Naya‘s family and friends gathered together at the lake today and joined hands for a heartbreaking moment.

Ryan and Naya were married in 2014 and finalized their divorce in 2018. They have a son named Josey, 4, who was with Naya when she went missing on the lake. Ryan rushed to be with Josey after news broke that Naya went missing on the lake.

Naya Rivera‘s ex-husband, Ryan Dorsey, is visiting Lake Piru.

The 36-year-old actor and father of their 4-year-old son, Josey, was seen emotionally visiting the lake on Saturday (July 10) where rescue teams are currently searching her body after she presumably accidentally drowned after going missing while boating with her son earlier in the week.

Ryan was pictured wading out into the water, sitting by himself as the authorities continued the search.

The Ventura County Sheriff’s department is still searching for Naya and the sheriff has been giving daily updates on what they were doing to try and locate the former Glee star.

Naya‘s mother and brother also paid vigil at the lake.

Over the weekend, the authorities gave an update and explained why they’re ruling out suicide as a possibility in the disappearance.

A former Glee co-star is now asking police if she can help in the search as well.

Naya Rivera and her ex-husband Ryan Dorsey agreed to a new custody agreement just three months before she disappeared in Lake Piru.

The 33-year-old Glee actress and the 36-year-old Justified actor tied the knot back in 2014 and they welcomed their son Josey into the world in 2015. Their divorce was finalized in 2018.

People has obtained a “stipulation and order modifying judgment re visitation” that was filed on March 26. In the new agreement, the former couple agreed to share joint custody of Josey, 4.

The documents stated that Naya and Ryan agreed to “an equal timeshare to be mutually agreed upon by the Parties consistent with the schedules of each Party and the minor child. … The Parties shall also equally divide all holidays, vacation time, pupil-free days, and summer vacation. The Parties shall meet and confer to determine the holiday schedule. The Court reserves jurisdiction in the event of a dispute.”

The documents continued, “The Parties shall share joint physical custody of the minor child with [Rivera] having primary physical custody of the minor child. [Dorsey] shall be afforded frequent and meaningful custodial contact with the minor child according to” an outlined schedule.

A vacation schedule was also laid out in the documents.

Naya went missing on Wednesday (July 8) while boating at Southern California’s Lake Piru with her son. He was found alive in the boat and he told authorities that his mom never came back after she went swimming. Police say there is a chance they will never recover her body and they believe she drowned.

The 36-year-old actor, who appeared on the TV shows Ray Donovan and Justified, reportedly rushed to his four-year-old son’s side after hearing about what happened.

Ryan‘s housemate told the Daily Mail that “Ryan headed up there as soon as their son was found to look after him. He was gone by the time I got home Wednesday.”

The housemate added, “Naya has been in LA working but I don’t know where she has been living. None of us know any more than what is being reported at this time. Naya hadn’t been in contact with him. She didn’t tell him what she was doing. He had no idea. It’s a horrible circumstance and we’re hoping for the best.”

Photos published on Thursday (July 9) show Josey with a big smile while spending time with Ryan following the tragic incident.

Police say that Naya still has not been found and the search for her continues.

Naya Rivera is missing after boating on Lake Piru in California with her four-year-old son Josey on Wednesday (July 8). If you missed it, Naya and her son rented a boat during their trip and Josey was found alone on the boat.

Josey apparently told authorities that his mom never came back into the boat after swimming.

Ventura County Sheriff’s Capt. Eric Buschow briefly spoke to reporters after searches went underway to find Naya.

“He’s in good health,” Buschow said about four-year-old Josey, whose dad is Ryan Dorsey. “The family is going through a very traumatic time right now.”

The search for Naya resumed on Thursday (July 9) after the search was halted overnight.

Naya Rivera and Ryan Dorsey are officially divorced.

The 31-year-old former Glee actress filed for divorce back in December and an L.A. Superior Court judge signed off on the split on Thursday (June 14), according to TMZ.

Naya and Ryan got into a fight over Thanksgiving last year and she was arrested for domestic battery, though the charge was dropped.

The former couple will share joint physical and legal custody of their two-year-old son Josey. Neither will pay spousal support.

Naya Rivera‘s domestic battery charge has been dropped.

The charge against the 31-year-old Glee actress was dismissed by the Kanawha County Magistrate Court’s office in West Virginia as of Friday (January 12), according to TMZ.

The case was reportedly dropped because her estranged husband, Ryan Dorsey, does not wish to move forward with pressing charges.

Naya was arrested back on Thanksgiving weekend in 2017 after Ryan called the police to report her for allegedly hitting him due to a dispute over their child.

She then filed for divorce shortly thereafter.
