Police Have Not Yet Found Naya Rivera, Announce Media Briefing

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office is providing an update in the ongoing search for Naya Rivera, who is horrifically presumed dead after going missing while boating with her son, Josey, 4.

The California office made the announcement on Thursday (July 9), a day after the Glee actress went missing.

“The search continues for Naya Rivera at Lake Piru, but she has not yet been found. There will be a media briefing to provide an operational update at 3 pm today at Lake Piru,” the office wrote on social media.

Josey told authorities that his mom did not return after she went swimming, and a search is now underway with a lot of help from diving teams, helicopter search parties, and more.

We are hoping for the best for Naya Rivera and her loved ones at this time.
