The Bachelor: Winter Games' Clare & Benoit End Engagement

It’s over for Clare Crawley and Benoit Beausejour-Savard, the couple who got engaged on the finale of The Bachelor: Winter Games.

The reality stars, Clare from The Bachelor USA and Benoit from The Bachelor Canada, took to Instagram on Thursday (April 5) to announce their split.

“We understand A lot of you have been asking about our relationship since the show, and we wanted to thank you all for the love and respect as we navigated it in real life off camera. We do understand however, having a public engagement on TV kind of changes that. It’s with a heavy heart that we have mutually decided to end our relationship,” the former couple wrote in the post.

“We think the world of each other, and we were both hoping we could make this work. I’m sorry that this may not be what you want to hear, but it’s our truth. Just know there are no negative feelings here, we are simply two people who believed in love, and were open enough to give it a chance,” Clare and Benoit added. “We still care for each other very deeply (That is why no hate or disrespectful comments will be tolerated about the other.) Please respect our privacy as well, as with the end of any relationship, it is never easy. Thank you for your understanding and love while we have shared our vulnerability with the world.”

The Bachelor: Winter Games' Ashley & Kevin Have Broken Up

It’s over for Ashley Iaconetti and Kevin Wendt, the winning couple of The Bachelor: Winter Games.

The two reality stars fell in love on the special edition of the Bachelor Nation franchise, which aired during the Olympics last month. The couple reportedly wasn’t able to make it work due to their long distance relationship.

Ashley was on Chris Soules‘ season of The Bachelor and she also appeared on two seasons of Bachelor in Paradise. Kevin came to the show from The Bachelorette Canada.

“It was a little weird to have to figure out a long-term plan so soon,” a source told Entertainment Tonight. “Ashley and Kevin were both really into each other, they just weren’t sure if it was a forever thing. And it’s hard to date long distance like that.”

Luke Pell Slammed By 'Bachelor: Winter Games' Cast for His Treatment of Stassi

Luke Pell is taking a lot of heat for what he did to Stassi Yaramchuk after the cameras stopped rolling on The Bachelor: Winter Games.

The two reality stars became a couple on the show and after the season was done filming, Luke completely cut off contact with Stassi, who says she never even got his phone number.

“I don’t even have his number,” she told People. “Recently, I heard that he actually broke up with me, but I didn’t even know. I’m shocked.”

During the Bachelor: Winter Games – The World Tells All special, Stassi opened up about her heartbreak and contestant Clare Crawley said that she was upset that it seemed Luke came to the show to gain more social media followers.

“I love Luke as a person. I genuinely love Luke, I think he’s a great guy, but in this circumstance it wasn’t fair to Stassi and she deserves the truth,” Clare told ET.

Ben Higgins added, “I don’t think it was the greatest way to handle it, but I know that his intentions are probably good. He just got put into a situation that I don’t think he knew how to handle.”
