The Predator, starring Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, and more, has opened to a first place lead in the box office standings!

The film brought in $24.0 million it it’s opening weekend in the US.

Warner Bros’ The Nun still held strong and came in at number two this weekend with $18.2 million grossed.

Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick‘s A Simple Favor also opened this weekend and made $16.0 million in its debut.

Rounding out the top five were White Boy Rick and Crazy Rich Asians, which earned $8.8 and $8.7 million, respectively.

The Predator is hitting theaters in just a few hours and we have the scoop on if there’s anything extra after the credits roll.

Well, we’ve learned that there’s no additional scenes or extras once the movie ends.

The film stars Olivia Munn, Boyd Holbrook, Sterling K. Brown, Trevante Rhodes, Keegan-Michael Key, Yvonne Strahovski, Jacob Tremblay and more.

The movie has been shrouded in some controversy after Olivia discovered the director, Shane Black, cast a registered sex offender in the film who had committed a crime against a child. Olivia had to contact the studio and get the scene featuring the actor taken out of the film. She also spoke out that none of her co-stars initially reached out.

The reboot stars Trevante Rhodes, Sterling K. Brown, Boyd Holbrook, Jacob Tremblay, Olivia Munn and Keegan-Michael Key, and the first teaser trailer is here.

When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.

The film will hit theaters on September 14.

Filming just started on the reboot of the classic movie and director Shane Black has already shared a pretty cool photo of the cast lined up and ready for action.
