Chris Hemsworth has a new battle on the horizon in the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok!

The international trailer was released on Wednesday (August 16) for the upcoming Marvel film and it featured Thor interacting with another superhero – Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch)!

Tom Hiddleston is reprising his role as Loki alongside Chris and they are joined by Cate Blanchett (Hela), Idris Elba (Heimdall), Jeff Goldblum (Grandmaster), Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie) and Karl Urban (Skurge), with Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/Hulk) and Anthony Hopkins (Odin).

Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters on November 3.

Tessa Thompson is bound to be the break-out star of the upcoming Marvel movie Thor: Ragnarok and she looks so fierce in the new trailer revealed at Comic-Con!

The 33-year-old actress is playing the role of Valkyrie, someone who works with Thor to prevent the end of the world from happening.

Tessa is best known for her work in the movies Creed, Selma, and Dear White People, as well as the TV series Westworld.

Selma director Ava DuVernay took to Twitter after the trailer was released and said, “I used to have a normal friend named Tessa Thompson. Now, she’s an intergalactic empress who’ll kick your patootie. #Facts #ThorRagnarok.”

Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston wave to the fans while appearing on the Thor: Ragnarok panel at Comic-Con‘s Hall H on Saturday evening (July 22) in San Diego, Calif.

The guys were joined at the event by their co-stars Cate Blanchett, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, and Mark Ruffalo, as well as director Taika Waititi.

The brand new, action-packed trailer for the movie was debuted during the panel, in addition to a super cool new poster for film.

Thor: Ragnarok, the latest film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will hit theaters on November 3.

FYI: Chris is wearing an Etro suit and Tod’s shoes. Cate is wearing a Monse suit, Tod’s shoes, and Repossi jewelry. Tom is wearing Aquatalia shoes. Tessa is wearing a Marc Jacobs top and skirt with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes.

A new poster for the movie was also released at the Comic-Con panel and it looks so cool. The poster prominently features such cast members as Cate Blanchett, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Tessa Thompson, Anthony Hopkins, Idris Elba, and Jeff Goldblum.

The official teaser trailer for the upcoming movie Thor: Ragnarok has been released and it features Chris Hemsworth‘s Thor battling Mark Ruffalo‘s Hulk in gladiator-like contest!

In the film, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok�”the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization�”at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela (Cate Blanchett). Seven new stills from Thor: Ragnarok and three behind the scenes pics have been revealed!

Chris Hemsworth shows off his new look as the superhero and it appears that he chops off his hair at some point during the film based on one of the behind the scenes shots.

The 33-year-old actor is seen with long hair in one of the photos in which he is being given direction from Taika Waititi.

Also featured in some of the new stills are Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Cate Blanchett as the villainous Hela, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, and Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster.

The images were first featured in a new issue of EW earlier this month. The superhero flick will be out November 3, 2017!
