Isla Fisher steps out for The Broad museum’s opening celebration of the new art exhibition Soul of a Nation: Art in the Age of Black Power on Friday night (March 22) in Los Angeles.

Also in attendance at the event were Jay-Z and Black Panther‘s Angela Bassett with husband Courtney B. Vance.

The exhibition celebrates the work of more than 60 Black artists made over two decades. Jay and more stars arrived for the celebration in Land Rover vehicles.

Others at the event included Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Michael Ealy, Tia Mowry-Hardict, Fran Drescher, Mehcad Brooks, and Tina Knowles with husband Richard Lawson.

The 48-year-old Oscar-nominated actress looked super chic in a red blazer over a red, black, and white jumpsuit as she was joined at the event by her If Beale Street Could Talk co-star KiKi Layne.

Alicia Keys hits the stage alongside Dr. Michael Eric Dyson during the National CARES Mentoring Movement’s 2019 For The Love Of Our Children Gala held at The Ziegfeld Ballroom on Monday (February 11) in New York City.

The 38-year-old singer served as the honorary gala chair and was also joined by Tina Knowles and her husband Richard Lawson, and Maxwell.

National CARES Mentoring Movement is a pioneering community-galvanizing movement dedicated to alleviating intergenerational poverty among African Americans.

“We absolutely talk and see each other regularly, happily, easily. She’s a tremendous, tremendous actress who has a film out now. She produced it and she’s starring in it. She’s a tremendous, tremendous person,” Jesse added. “That is the light of my career on the show, being her acting partner.”

Michelle Williams is getting open and honest about seeking help for depression and her celebrity friends are praising her for speaking out.

The 37-year-old Destiny’s Child singer revealed in an Instagram post that she “recently listened to the same advice [she has] given to thousands around the world and sought help from a great team of healthcare professionals.”

Among the stars who left comments on the Instagram post include Beyonce‘s sister Solange Knowles and mom Tina Lawson, Oscar winner Octavia Spencer, Empire actor Jussie Smollett, rapper Missy Elliott, and more.

“Love u so Michelle! Really proud of you. Sending u all the love in the world,” Solange wrote.

“Michelle My Belle, I’m so proud of you! You have given unselfishly of your time and support to so many and I know that you will be the best example of self care which we all need. Keep being a warrior and an advocate for you. I love and support you with all my being,” Tina wrote. “I so love and admire you [sic] amazing courage.”
