Naomie Harris is starring in the new movie Black and Blue and a new poster for the film has debuted online!

The 43-year-old actress stars alongside Tyrese Gibson in the movie, which will be released on October 25.

“Yeeeesssss!!!!! The poster for @blackandbluemovie launched today!! Can not wait for you to see it, and understand why I keep raving about this movie!! You will be blown away by [the cast] all under the incredible direction of Mr @deontaylor … this one is definitely NOT to be missed!!” Naomie wrote on her Instagram account.

Black and Blue is a fast-paced action thriller about a rookie cop (Harris) who inadvertently captures the murder of a young drug dealer on her body cam. After realizing that the murder was committed by corrupt cops, she teams up with the one person from her community who is willing to help her (Gibson) as she tries to escape both the criminals out for revenge and the police who are desperate to destroy the incriminating footage.

Fast & Furious co-star Nathalie Emmanuel took to Instagram earlier this week to share a photo with a bunch of her co-stars as they celebrate Michelle Rodriguez‘s birthday on set.

It was announced last month that John has joined the cast of the upcoming Fast & Furious 9.

The film is set to hit theaters on May 22, 2020.

Black and Blue was directed by Deon Tayler, who directed the recent movie The Intruder.

The Deon Taylor-directed film also features Mike Colter, Frank Grillo, Reid Scott, Beau Knapp, and Nafessa Williams and will hit theaters on October 25th.

F. Gary Gray had tons of support on hand at his Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony!

The 49-year-old director was joined by pals Jamie Foxx, Vin Diesel, Ice Cube, and Tyrese Gibson at the unveiling of his star on Tuesday afternoon (May 28) in Hollywood, Calif.

“This is an incredible, incredible honor. It really truly is,” Gary said during the ceremony. “Wow. To place this star even near, let alone alongside some of the greatest artists of all time — I really, really, truly am honored to be mentioned alongside you guys. Wow.”

Gary has directed box office hits like The Fate of the Furious, Straight Outta Compton, and Law Abiding Citizen.

His upcoming movie Men in Black: International hits theaters on June 14.

Tyrese Gibson posted a picture with director Daniel Espinosa on Instagram on Thursday (May 2).

“On set in London, UK standing next to a man who is brilliant beyond…… Our director Daniel Espinosa!! Over our first private dinner we both talked about and was singing the praises of a real one… Denzel Washington DanieL directed Denzel in the film SAFE HOUSE!!!! The upcoming movie, a Spider-Man Universe spinoff starring Jared Leto, is based on Morbius the Living Vampire. Dr. Michael Morbius (Leto) is a biochemist who attempts to cure a fatal blood disease by injecting himself with a treatment serum derived from bats. In becoming Morbius, he has all the qualities of a vampire — including a taste for human blood.

The movie is set to hit theaters on July 31, 2020.

Tyrese Gibson will be taking on R&B legend Teddy Pendergrass in an upcoming biopic!

The 40-year-old actor and singer has signed on to play the singer in the Warner Bros. film with Little Marvin writing the screenplay and Donald De Line, Lee Daniels, and Tyrese producing. Teddy‘s widow Joan Pendergrass, is on board as an executive producer.

“I am honored to take this journey… This is the role that I feel I was born to play,” Tyrese said in a statement. “Teddy Pendergrass embraced me and before he passed, put the responsibility on my shoulders to tell his story. Being here in this time and in this space and moment with Lee Daniels, Donald De Line, Little Marvin, and Warner Bros. is an answered prayer. Teddy, I just hope we make you, your wife and family proud… Here we go!”

Teddy rose to fame in the early 70s as the lead singer of Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes before skyrocketing to stardom as a solo artist over the next two decades. Teddy passed away in 2010 from respiratory failure at the age of 59.

The film doesn’t have a title, director, or release date yet.
