Emmanuelle Chriqui is Perfect in Pink

Emmanuelle Chriqui of Entourage and You Don’t Mess With The Zohan, looks pretty in pink as she leaves the Bowery Hotel in New York on Thursday.

The 30-year-old actress joined costar Adam Sandler at the screening of You Don’t Mess With The Zohan on Wednesday in New York City.

Recently commenting about her unique looks, she said, “I’m telling you — I’m convinced that I was an Indian princess in a past life. Everybody thinks that I’m Indian! And that hurts. In America, I think it’s still the choice that people will gravitate to — the girl next door.”

The Canadian-born actress is actually of French-Moroccan-Jewish descent.

she’s 30??? she looks young… like early 20′s.

# 2

The shoes don’t really go well with that dress.

# 3

jeeej, she’s moroccan like me

# 4

She is very beautiful, I guess that comes from her mixed heritage.

# 5

She needs to appreciate her unique looks and that people think she is Indian. If she did not look somewhat Indian she will be another plain Jane out there and would not have much of a chance in the Entertainment world.

# 6

She looks like Rose Byrne in these pictures.

Emmanuelle is not part french, only born in Montreal. She is 100% jewish morrocan and she does look very morrocan pretty girl!

She is pretty and looks very young. I think Indian women tend to have a unique and beautiful look. She should be flattered.

how many of her threads flopped? why she keep getting them?

Yeah. I think both of her parents are from Morocco, but that doesn’t mean she has NO French blood. Morocco was/is a French colonial state. She could have French blood, despite both of her parents coming from Morocco and being Jewish. Anyway, she was born in Montreal, Canada.

Don’t really like this outfit, everything just looks wrong! Get some new pair of shoes and get a purse!

What an idiot. She just insulted, like, a BILLION people. It “hurts,” that people think she’s Indian? WTF? It’s not like, if they didn’t think she was ‘Indian,’ and happened to have mental telepathy and GUESSED that she was French, Morooccan and Jewish that would be seen by people as the ‘girl next door,’ EITHER. Is she that dumb? I’m actually more likely to live next door to an Indian girl, than I am a French, Moroccan Jew, so I don’t know what she’s even talking about. How do you get to 30 and be that stupid??

She’s beautiful but there’s something weird about that dress. I think it’s too long. The shoes are awesome though.

She is beautiful. I love that dress. Wish I knew where to get it. It is so pretty. She is younger than she looks. Lucky girl.

wow…are these from the ’90s? haha that dress! wow i just HATE IT

she is very pretty though

Pretty girl, but weird comment. Personally, don’t get the ‘it hurts’ comment? Are people actually supposed to somehow guess she is Moroccan from Montreal of Jewish faith…? Most ‘girl next door’ types in the US are originally from many different backgrounds anyway (e.g. jennifer anison – greek; cameron diaz – cuban/venezuelan)…

Well said.

She is a very beautiful lady; people of mixed races/ethnicities often look very beautiful to me…an exotic look with the best of both! I think she was on the OC in season two. She played Alex’s lesbian ex-girlfriend. Anyone else remember?

I’ve never been on this site before today. But being Indian and a huge Emmanuelle Chriqui fan from back in the day when she was in 100 Girls, Snow Day and Detroit Rock City, I was extremely startled by her comments. First, because the quote didn’t seem to make sense (mentioning an Indian princess and then saying ‘it hurts’) and second, it’s so out of her normal persona. So, I did a little research and found the ACTUAL quote. It reads:
————-
“I’m telling you,” says Emmanuelle Chriqui, leaning forward over the table at Gemma, a rustic Italian eatery. “I’m convinced that I was an Indian princess in a past life. Everybody thinks that I’m Indian.”

Actually, she’s French-Moroccan-Jewish, and her multiethnic look has cost the Canadian-born actress some roles. “There have been times when I’ve been completely passionate about something and got beat out by the blonde,” says Chriqui, 31. “And that hurts. In America, I think it’s still the choice that people will gravitate to — the girl next door.”
—————

Now that makes a LOT more sense. I’m not sure how popular this JustJared site is, or where someone spliced that quote from. But whoever did it needs to seriously reconsider how they reword direct quotes. This is how rumors and bad press get started.

Oh god, you should have seen this one hot chick! She was totally Italian…or maybe some kind of Spanish.

Emmanuelle Chriqui will be returning to Entourage this fall, where millions of American boys (and overseas ones for that matter) won’t care what nationality she is… they will just tune in to see how low the blouse is.

I don’t care is she’s from Mars. I want to marry her!

Wondering if anyone knows her father’s name. I never knew my father, but I was told he was Moroccan with Israeli parent. I was also told that his last name was Chriqui. Oddly enough my mother’s name is Emma which I found rather interesting.
Hope to hear news
