OlderKate Beckinsale: Blackout for Whiteout
Kate Beckinsale (in Jil Sander) walks the white carpet at the premiere of her film, Whiteout, on Wednesday (September 9) at the Mann Village Theater in Westwood, Calif.
Her husband Len Wiseman accompanied her to the after-party at Tavern, where she donned a Christian Lacroix navy silk cocktail dress, Judith Leiber walnut clutcand black leather Ferragamo pumps.
The 37-year-old actress stars in the film where she plays a U.S. deputy marshal assigned to Antarctica where she must investigate a murder. The movie is based on the 1998 comic book of the same name by Greg Rucka and Steve Lieber.

Looks phenomenal as ever! Frankly, whenever I see Kate, I fully envision her playing Catwoman, and if Selena Kyle ever shows up in a Dark Knight sequel, here’s to hoping that Kate is given the consideration that she deserves.

She speaks 3 languages fluently, studied Russian and French literature at Oxford, twice won national writing awards as a youngster in London, and has an insanely high IQ. She has more substance than 99.99% of Hollywood.
If you want films with substance, I’d suggest you check out Nothing But the Truth, Winged Creatures, and Snow Angels. Three films she’s had released in the last two years. You could also wait for Everybody’s Fine with Deniro in December.
