Emma Watson proudly wears an “I Love NY” t-shirt and carries a neck support pillow as she arrives at London’s Heathrow airport on Sunday (September 20).
The 19-year-old British actress is currently a freshman a Brown University.
According to Britain’s Daily Telegraph, Emma entered the Guinness World Records book as the highest-grossing lead actress of the decade after the Harry Potter franchise earned a massive $5.4 billion worldwide.
Emma, who stars as Hermione Granger, will rake in about $753 million for her movies, which included the animated flick The Tale of Despereaux.

I’m currently on the verge of meltdown trying to finish my degree! How on earth is she able to jet off to London and manage her studies at the same time? She must be uber talented. Kudos to her!

Spicynik, you’re right. Emma does not have $753 million in her account. That her “contribution” to films are estimated at that much is more accurate.
Either way, I don’t believe it. Once HP franchise is over, her career is too, unless she can come up with something equally as big.
It’s like when people used to say the Olsen twins are billionaires. They are NOT billionaires. Their company retails for a billion, but the twins are worth an estimated $100 million, TOGETHER.
How in the world does this girl have time to “jet off” to London for a visit like 3 weeks into school?!?!?! I’m a student at Yale, and am stressed to the max only a few weeks in…someone is either doing her work for her…or she is just really that intelligent..however when you’re paying this much to go to school..I recommend attending your lectures..
She’s really pretty but not her biggest fan acting-wise… she wasn’t too bad in Ballet Shoes, though.

She looks GORGEOUS!!! She must be returning to London for filming. I don’t think classes start until about two weeks after orientation depending on the school. But she looks happy and that’s all that matters! :D

She hasn’t made that much money…her films have averaged that much. All of the Harry Potter films and The Tale of Despereaux. Emma is still a very rich girl I’m sure, but I don’t think even Oprah makes over 750 million in 10 years time.
She’ll be lucky to see 10% of that which is still more than reasonable considering the amount of labor that she put into it.
If her agent was smart she’ll make more if they dealt on gross profits instead of net. Net profits are a scam since Hollywood accounting (wiki it) never shows that any movie makes money, ever, ever.

i read the same thing about her grossing that much, at 1st i thought it meant how much she actually made, but that’s almost impossible for any actor
it’s basically how good her movies have done, all the movies she was in combined made that much, it’s impressive but mostly because she was in HP movies, which all made millions, so not super impressive, she’s just been in good movies
