OlderCarrie Underwood on Mike Fisher: 'We're Both Doing Our Thing'
Carrie Underwood told Ellen DeGeneres on her show today (November 18) that she and boyfriend Mike Fisher have been together “close to a year now.”
“That’s the longest relationship I’ve had!” Carrie, 26, said. “I joke and say my dogs are the longest relationship ever.”
The 26-year-old Grammy winner said that when one of her band members tried to hook her up with Mike, the Ottawa Senators hockey player, she was wary of the distance. “I love Canada,” she said, “but that is a long distance relationship.”
As for whether or not they’ll move in together, Carrie said no! “Call me old fashioned,” she laughed, “he’s there. I’m here. We’re both doing our thing and it’s good.”
“The next guy I move in with will be my hubby, whoever that is. I’m not saying it’s going to be him.”

She and Mike just started talking about their relationship a week or so ago. She has been dating him for a year. So—-she is NOTHING like Simpson. She has morals and is a very nice girl with a solid family upbringing. NOTHING like Simpson at all!!!!!

Carrie I just love your latest CD PLAY ON. All the songs are great but I just love the song Temporary Home, Mama’s Song,What can I say and of cour Cowboy Casnova. I do have all your CD’s. You are the best . I also love Shania Twain although she has not come out with any latest songs. Hope she does. Carrie you should come up with some gospel songs – you do sing them good.

In our staff locker room, some dumped a magazine on the floor and it’s open at a page with an Underwood interview – I ended up reading it and it seemed to me she’s not dumb at all, just can’t get why feminists don’t appreciate her behavior and songs.
