Vanessa Hudgens gives a big thumbs up when asked if boyfriend Zac Efron is a good kisser on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, airing TODAY. Here’s what else the 19-year-old High School Musical sweetheart had to say:

On on-and-off-screen beau Zac Efron: “Ah, he’s hot!”

On if Zac eats cereal for breakfast: “He’s more of an eggs kind of guy. If he’s feeling lazy he just drinks them. Not most of the time, but every now and then.”

On what she got Zac for his 21st birthday (last Saturday): “I haven’t given it to him yet. I’m kind of late. It’s something for a house.”

Ellen DeGeneres voices her disapproval over Gov. Sarah Palin stance on banning gay marriage on a federel level.

On her talk show, which airs today, Ellen joked, “I told you all I’ve been watching CNN a whole lot lately. I’ve been watching it way too much I think because they’ve invited me to their Christmas party.

She continued, “I don’t know if you saw this, but Vice Presidential Candidate, Governor Sarah Palin says she’s that in favor of a federal ban on gay marriage. Basically wants to change the constitution.

“So if you’re wondering, I’m sure you are, how I feel about this. I don’t like, I don’t like it. I don’t agree. Maybe it’s because I’m gay that I think we should all be equal. but I feel that we’re all equal.

“I don’t know what people are scared of maybe they think that their children will be influenced. I gotta say I was raised by two heterosexuals. I was surrounded by heterosexuals just every where I looked heterosexuals and they did not influences. I mean I dabbled in high school, who didn’t? Everyone dabbled, ya know?

“People are gonna be who they’re gonna be. And we need to learn to love them for who they are and let them love who they want to love.”

Over the weekend, DeGeneres donated $100,000 to the ‘No on Proposition 8’ campaign to help them fight to defeat the November ballot in California.

The 50-year-old talk-show host recently married her longtime actress girlfriend, Portia de Rossi, soon after same-sex marriage became legal in their state.

We were going to let you know [in January when the campaign starts], but somehow people found out about it… They’re putting some lip liner on me … Man, they love lip liner. I got hours and hours… I am very, very excited about it. It’s a very cool thing, I’m honored and the photo shoot was ‘easy, breezy, beautiful … CoverGirl.’ ”
