Michelle Obama is Nobel Prize Perfect

Michelle Obama spends time in Oslo, Norway as her husband, President Barack Obama, accepts the Nobel Peace Prize on Thursday (December 10).

Later that evening, Barack and the First Lady greeted fans gathered outside for a traditional torchlight ceremony.

“We are at war, and I’m responsible for the deployment of thousands of young Americans to battle in a distant land,” Barack said in his acceptance speech today.

“Some will kill, and some will be killed. And so I come here with an acute sense of the costs of armed conflict — filled with difficult questions about the relationship between war and peace, and our effort to replace one with the other.”

FYI: Michelle‘s chartreuse dress is by Calvin Klein, and she added a cardigan by Nina Ricci on top of it!

    What a crock!

  • La sigh.

    Take a breath. Listen to the people. Slow down and get some input from nonpoliticians and experts on the subject. Stop making everything an emergency. Stop speed-reading our bills into law. I am not an activist. I am not a community organizer. Nor am I a terrorist, a militant or a violent person. I am a parent and a grandparent. I work. I’m busy. I am busy, and I am tired. I thought we elected competent people to take care of the business of government so that we could work, raise our families, pay our bills, have a little recreation, complain about taxes, endure our hardships, pursue our personal goals, cut our lawn, wash our cars on the weekends and be responsible contributing members of society and teach our children to be the same all while living in the home of the free and land of the brave.

  • pffft.

    I’m so over these two. Talk about reverse discrimination. They are on most magazine covers ONLY because of the color of their skin. (which I do agree is lovely) but not note worthy to this extent.

  • huh?

    Let’s talk about STIMULUS bill. I want it repealed and I want no further funding supplied to it. We told you No, but you did it anyway. I want the remaining unfunded 95% repealed. Freeze, repeal!

  • huh?

    I think Michelle looks nice though.

  • NoBaMa NoBeL

    Obama has done nothing except being a media darling. He has not met the requirements for the award. Heck a police officer or soldier has done more to promote peace than Obama has so far in his term of office.

    this is a GOSSIP site – the Nobamas don’t belong here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God, why do you liberal people keep cramming these two down our throats?????? they are NOT celebrities – he’s the POTUS (at least elected-wise, he sure ain’t acting like it), he needs to be concerned about *that* job.

    MO’s pee green dress is disgusting but I actually like that silver jacket.

    But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give us a break from looking at these two on at least one site a day!

    What a joke.. Nobel prize ? Really ?

    What wonderful people we have occupying the White House now. I love the First Lady and President Obama.

  • Jane

    Congratulations President Obama. We are so proud of you.

  • Denise

    First Lady Michelle is a beautiful woman, inside and out. She loves people.

  • Shell

    Jane don’t say we like you represent the country. WE aren’t all proud of him in fact 53 percent of the country are far from proud of him.

  • No BO for Me

    @Shell:

    AMEN to that.

  • No BO for Me

    @Denise:

    Really – you think? I 1000% disagree.

  • mau

    She can be beautiful inside, but outside she’s very unattractive

  • Oh….how….lovely…..

    It’s a shame that we got hoodwinked into this family. He has done nothing for us as of yet. All they do is go to parties and shmooze with celebs and that is pretty much all he has done. They are an embarrassment to the American people. And she still can’t dress herself properly. Oh and by the way, that crap that Obama put out about refinancing homes at a low rate so we could afford to stay in our homes is another crock!! It only applies to the people who aren’t paying their mortgages. The folks that are now working 3 jobs just so they can pay their motgages DON’T QUALIFY. Only the ones that sit around and chose not to pay. You have to be behind over 3 months. And then you have to find a bank that is working with that program. Guess what………those banks are very few and far between. VERY FEW AND FAR BETWEEN!! He’s a scam.

  • QueenOfTrashin

    You can call it a ‘cardigan’ all you want, but it is STILL a sweater and I am so tired of seeing them. There is nothing Jackie-Oish about wearing a damn sweater to a formal event. And she needs to wear some drop-waisted dresses to disguise the fact that her waistline is just under her tits.

  • QueenOfTrashin

    Hear, hear, La Sigh!

    She looksgreat.
    The Noble PP was quite a surpirse and rather undeserving…HE HAS SAID THAT AND IA IT IN HIS SPEECH YESTERDAY AT THE NOBELPP ceremony!!!!!!IT IS REALLY FOR THE U.S.A and half for him.

THESE TAX paying Amers.God loving and God fearing, living right,hard working CITIZENS of this great country have NO MED.INS.He should go the way of Bush-make it easy and do as llitlte as possibles-make it easy. Simple but effective like Clinton.

    She just always looks so gaughty. At least she isn’t wearing a hideous belt. At least Laura Bush looked like class, Obama is FAR from looking classy. Oh well. I can’t decide who I like the least. Mr. or Mrs. Obama. He totally DID NOT deserve that award, what a joke it has become now.

  • J

    @Denise:
    She love black people. White people she not likely so much. Research and read some of her old speeches. Pretty obvious.

  • mommymonitor

    @Oh….how….lovely…..:

    You got hoodwinked intothe Plain family too.

    You say she dressed with class.

    Well, you forgot to say HilaryClinton and Rosalyn Carter dressed with class. Biased are we?Yeah.

    The suits. Skirt,jacket. Jacketand pants.
    I will SAY, I likewhatMObama wears.She is herself as all first ladies are.
    Hillary and Laura really stayed in pantsuits . NacnyReagan and a pantsuit-rarely unless there was some really good, good rare reason for a pantsuit.

    I do WISH MObama would stick with straight dresses. Red,Blue, two-piece suits for official things. Pastel colors.
    WHy makeit harder on herself?
    Politics is a game.
    it should not be a board game but until we Americans hold our politicians accountable,we willdwell onthisofgreatimportance LOl,likeMObama’s clothes.

  • Oh….how….lovely…..

    @mommymonitor

    I’m sorry, but, I have absolutely no idea what you are meaning. BTW, I voted for him. I am not a Democrat nor am I a Republican, I AM AN AMERICAN. I have voted for Dems and Reps in the past. And I believe that nothing good will ever happen in this country until both sides believe the same way. Neither party can ever get anything done because the other party always puts out the propaganda and tries to squash it. In the end, nothing really gets done. It seems to me that it is no longer about what will or won’t work between the parties, it’s about just sticking with your party no matter what.

    Thanks No BO for me. My spacebar sticks.

    I agree with Oh..how..lovely in that both parites are interested in winning at any cost for the political party and its members .
    Dam n the country and the people. Just push your political party’s agenda forth.

    We,The People have to change that.

    Sounds likeThe Constitution needs to taken out, dusted off, and relearned.

  • No BO for Me

    @mommymonitor:

    I completely agree with you on that one. And I didn’t mean to sound catty – one hat that I wear in my job is as editor and your posts were hard to look at. LOL

  • Oh….how….lovely…..

    mommymonitor

    All each party seems to do is argue and argue – just to win. They spend so much time just arguing they have no time left to get anything done. It’s not about doing the right thing for our country anymore. It’s only about being catty or exposing the other party, yada, yada, yada. Personally I could give a shit about some politician tapping his toes in the bathroom as long as he does a good job for us.

  • goran

    You people surly are a strange lot! The way you speak of people, makes me somewhat sorry. I’m from Norway, and we do for sure not juge people in my country the way you do. For example, I wonder how you yourself look? For if I’m not totally mistaken, the ordinary US citizen looks perfectly ordinary, like most people do. The only difference is that the amount of people in the USA beeing obese is much higher than compered to rest of the world. All the wourld can see that Michelle Obama is a very good looking lady, that you for sure should be very proud of. To be sure it is not common in Europe to speak in such a fashion about its own leaders. For indeed your president is ellected by your people, and therefore, until a new election comes, though you do not agree with him on everything. I find that you should at least respect him and his wife. That is, if you have any honor and pride in your country.

  • Oh….how….lovely…..

    @goran
    As soon as he does something worthy of our respect and allows us to be proud we will be very happy to. And please don’t shove that Peace Prize bung down my throat either – it was a gratuitous statement at best. I am prior military and honor my country more than you would ever know and if you are not in this country, dealing with the issues that we have to deal with, I do not think you are qualified to judge what we are supposed to feel. Most other countries think Obama is Mr Wonderful because he is making everyone else happy. He has spent most of his time in office shmoozing the world and trying to rid our country of the black eye we have been sporting for a long time instead of doing what he was elected to accomplish. We did need a large amount of diplomacy and wounds to be healed for sure, but it’s time for him to buckle down and do the job he was elected to do instead of kissing the worlds buttocks. We are tired of seeing him at gala dinners and hob-nobbing with celebs. We want action and we want it now! Please do not take this the wrong way, but you know not of what you speak.

  • No BO for Me

    @goran:

    We should be proud that the first lady is good looking? Appearance does NOT a leader make. And for the record, I think they’re wrong – I do not think MO is attractive but when that’s mentioned, you’re automatically assumed to be a racist. And frankly, while you’re completely entitled to your opinion, until you live (legally) in the USA, please don’t bother sharing how you think Americans should act. If websites are going to continue to shove the “fashion” of MO in our face, people are going to continue to say how awful she looks (or how beautiful – to each their own but the drooling over the first couple is a lot of what got this country in the mess it’s in right now, IMO, because people were blinded by the spot light that surrounded this Chicago politicians……..) and that’s our right. But oh how lovely is right, BO needs to actually DO something instead of all this non-stop campaigning.

  • Oh….how….lovely…..

    No BO for Me

    Right?? Would be nice if our President and First Lady acted as such, instead of acting like celebrities. That’s NOT what he is there for!!!

    She is absolutely stunning! You Obama bashers can take your sorry arses to the Bush fan club site. Oops, nothing like that would ever exist. That nut ruined this country and the image of it around the world. You hate that the Obamas are loved everywhere they go. You people are nothing but pathetic, red-neck trailer trash.

  • No BO for Me

    @C_Hill:

    And you’re a typical democrat. Not everyone who hates BO is a Bush lover. Sad that you can’t see that. BO’s “grace” period of blaming Bush for everything is over; he’s been in office nearly a year. No other new president has gotten to use “it’s the previous administration’s fault that I don’t know what I’m doing” as long as BO has. Now who’s pathetic? You know what’s really pathetic? People like you who have to resort to name-calling because you can’t back your comments up with facts.

    she has a style, it’s just not that nice

  • Halli

    @lakers fan in boston:

    Michelle is just average looking. She is pretty and she isn’t ugly. For some reason people expect for Michelle to look pretty all the time, when most of the First Ladie’s we’ve had looked like dogs. Its just becuase her husband is cuter than her. That’s why people draw the comparison. They did the same thing with Hillary Clinton

  • Halli

    @Halli:

    I mean she IS NOT pretty but I don’t think she is ugly either. Ugly is a really strong word. She just doesn’t look all that feminine to me lately. Her clothes look old and matronly and she has a funny shaped head, so she should stick to keeping her hair down.

  • ana

    She has no fashion sense a lot of times she looks like a clown. And her new brown hair color does not suit he at all . Please stop telling us she is a fashion queen everyone knows it is a lie.

  • Jared

    @ana:

    You’re right she isn’t a fashion queen. She is almost 50 years old and is a graduate of Princeton and Harvard University and a successful lawyer. She is beyond being a simple “fashion queen” or trophy wife. She is her own person so get used to it!
