Dancing with the Stars began its eleventh season with a bang, bringing in 20 million viewers and giving ABC a ratings victory for the evening!

The DWTS judges praised Jennifer Grey and Kyle Massey for their opening night performances, while The Situation, who’d only had five days of rehearsal time, didn’t fare quite as well in the competition.

Sarah Palin tweeted that she and her whole family were cheering on daughter Bristol from her living room in Alaska.
