OlderCritics Choice Awards 2011: The Winners!
Award season has officially started!
The winners for the 2011 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards were revealed on Friday (January 14) at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.
The Social Network walked away with the night’s biggest accolade for Best Picture, while The Fighter also scored several awards, including Best Acting Ensemble, Best Supporting Actor for Christian Bale and Best Supporting Actress for Melissa Leo.

So happy for Christian Bale, it’s about time for him to be recognized as one of the most versatile actors out there, he’s amazing! I don’t agree with The Social Network being a better movie than The Town or Inception, congrats to Natalie Portman and Colin Firth on their wins as well.
Hans Zimmer should’ve won for best score. The Social Network’s score wasn’t as good as Inception!
127 hours is still THE amazing experience. Franco, Boyle, and associates are done proud not matter what the critics come up with.
127 by far the most creative production…. Franco & Boyle & cinematographers….all deserving! Heck with the outcomes– you guys rock!

The social network wasn’t THAT great. It needs to stop winning EVERY award otherwise the Oscars are going to be a snooze feast with nobody but TSN winning.
@truth: agree with you on that one. The man who made it is so greedy by wanting to release it in theater, It won’t make it golden goble win or Oscar either.
TSN is a mediocre movie but it has a huge campaign for the Oscars. Complete rubbish of course but it won’t be the first time nor the last time if a cr.p movie does end up winning over quality.

where is this hype about social network coming from? I seriously dont think it should have won so many awards, i mean its ok but its nothing special. I personally feel black swan didnt get the credit it deserved the same with a lot of the other films but hey there’s still the golden globes and oscars :D
