Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem have welcomed a baby boy!!
The 36-year-old Spanish actress and her hubby, 41, became parents last week.
“Penelope and Javier welcomed their first son into their family last week,” the couple’s reps confirm to JustJared.com. “Both parents and baby are doing great.”
This is the first child for both Penelope and Javier.
FYI: Javier has had a great month so far – he became a parent and has been nominated for an Oscar for his work on Biutiful!

Is it me or does Javier really look like Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and HE really looks like Robert Downey Jr? I always get the first two mixed up.

Um she had him last saturday the 22nd the inicial report of her giving birht yestereday is obviously false. just because Jaivar is nominated for an oscar doesn’t mean he’s going to twin. those kind of awards are politically motivated and always have been

I can deffinatly agree with that, I can’t say how many times I’ve mixed those two up, the only different is obviousley the accent, once they start talking it’s easy to seperate them. You can google pictures of them and almsot wonder if they were seperated at birth.
I hope the baby doesn’t look like Javier The Monster. :D

Of course, this is great news and I wish them the best and blah blah blah
but I can’t help thinking Javier & Penelope are 2 major fame-wh*res.
They claim it was love at 1st sight between them when they 1st met back in 1992 but it seems they decided Penelope should open the Hollywood doors for both them by sleeping her way to fame.
And there she was, sleeping with Tom Cruise for 3 years and with Matthew McConaughey for 2 years. I obviously have no idea about the other Lalaland big wigs she seduced besides of these 2 and before going back in the arms of her real first love who seemed to agree seeing the woman of his life in so many other beds.
Last week? All the media thought she had the baby yesterday….kind of rude from them. Anyway, congrats.

iv’e been doing math and it seems that they lied when her rep said that she’s not pregnant last july, seven months prior to the baby’s birth. congratulations anyways
