Lindsay Lohan: Preliminary Hearing for Grand Theft Charge

Lindsay Lohan arrives at Airport Courthouse on Wednesday (February 23) for a preliminary hearing.

The 24-year-old actress was charged with a count of grand theft for allegedly stealing a $2500 necklace from a jewelry store in Venice, Calif.

TMZ reports that the district attorney is suggesting jail time for Lindsay‘s latest infraction. If the case settles when Lindsay and her attorney return to court on March 10, Judge Keith Schwartz noted, there will be jail time involved.

“I want you to get on with your life,” Judge Schwartz said. “I want you to reach whatever potential you have and move on.”
