OlderJohnny Depp & Amber Heard Premiere 'Rum Diary' in NYC
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard arrive at the premiere of their new film, The Rum Diary, on Tuesday (October 25) at the Museum of Modern Art in NYC.
The 25-year-old actress wore a Jean Paul Gaultier dress, Jimmy Choo shoes, Canturi earrings, a Monique Pean ring, and a Christian Louboutin bag to the Playboy-sponsored event.
“When I first saw Amber, it was like seeing an old-time movie star,” Johnny told USA Today about working with his co-star. “It was like I was seeing Lauren Bacall.”

Just because the films ‘flopped’ doesn’t mean she isn’t good. She gave a damn good performance in The Ward, The Informers, Keeping Up With the Jonses.
I don’t get the correlation between Megan Fox and Amber Heard’s ‘failures’, were you implying that everything Megan touches turns to gold? Because I’d have to point out — How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, Passion Play, Jonah Hex and Jennifer’s Body. This to speaks nothing of Megan’s talent. The two movies the dominated Box Offices were the ones she could have phoned in, if not for their reliance on her looks.

In a sea of Hollywood blondes Amber stands out. She is genuinely one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen and I love the way she carries herself, she always has such confidence and poise.
I’ve always thought she was a movie star, love the fact that she’s so strong willed and produces her own movies and I hope ‘The Rum Diary’ is gonna be her breakthrough role.
