Duchess Kate: Buckingham Palace Garden Tea Party!

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, attends a garden tea party at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday (May 29) in London, England.

The 30-year-old royal joined Queen Elizabeth and nearly 8,000 other people for the event, which is a highlight of the London spring-summer season.

Kate‘s husband, Prince William, was unable to attend since he was on duty in North Wales, according to People, which adds that the Queen recently gave him a new honor – The Earl of Strathearn – making him a Knight of the Most Ancient and Most Noble Order of the Thistle.

FYI: Kate wore the same $2,000 pink Emilia Wickstead coat dress she donned at a Windsor Castle reception earlier this month. She finished off her look with a Jane Corbett hat.
