OlderKeira Knightley: Jack Ryan Movie Frontrunner with Chris Pine!
Keira Knightley is reportedly the frontrunner to land the leading lady role in the upcoming Jack Ryan movie opposite Chris Pine!
The 27-year-old actress would play the future wife played by Anne Archer in the Harrison Ford films, according to Deadline.
Like Crazy‘s Felicity Jones and Lost‘s Evangeline Lilly are both in the mix to play the role too.

All of those three would be good choices, imo. Keira will probably end up getting it because she’s the biggest name.

Keira is a lucky girl! Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Michael Fassbender, Jude Law, Guillaume Canet, Colin Farrell, Andrew Garfield, James McAvoy, Matthew Macfadyen…. And Cris Pine? I kinda envy her.
The role calls for some one female to underscore the manliness and morality of the main male character. Let’s face it the movie is about Jack Ryan, a guy, and his other “guy” comrades uncovering and defeating a nefarious plot from other “guys”. It’s a guys’ movie and the girl is there to prove he’s a family guy or some such stuff. Just like a politician, having a wife means he is a family man and somehow more trustworthy. In other words…January Jones or Evangeline Lilly; actresses who shine but not too brightly.
Meant to say Felicity Jones and add Haily to the list.
@Lucy Are you high? God personally created Keira Knightley down to the last detail. This girl is one of the classiest in hollywood to boot, a real role model. She deserves any big role.

Keira is and always will be Amazing…hope she gets it… i suffered through the pirates movies just to see her. She and chris pine seem like they would have good chemistry.
I don’t know how I feel about this. I loved Anne Archer in the other movies. Is it sad that I can’t remember Kiera in ANY movie?
