I hate her! Brooke Shelids rules!

To say I hate her would be lying, but I do think she’s one of the most overexposed celebrities on this site.

Stop moaning about the success of others, and keep working for your own.
There will always be people who seem to have made a success of their lives with very little effort. Sometimes that is true. They are successful because of their exceptional physical attributes, be they in physical prowess on a field of sport, or beauty above and beyond the norm. But their success usually has a lot to do with the work that they put into their careers. Sports athletes who practice, and work out hours per day, every day of the year. Or people like Miranda, who has used her physical attributes to make a name for herself, but then added the extra effort to create her own skincare line and to become a successful author, which adds to her success.
Bitterness, and thinking that life just isn’t fair won’t get you anywhere. You have to work at it. Because guess what. Life ISN’T fair.

    @@3: she’s a model. calm your ti*ts

  • sara

    She looks amazing!
Orlando is already in South Africa, so I wonder if she will go directly there from Korea, or go back to Australia first?

  • jodie

I never got the hype around this woman, but she sure does herself. “its amazing how much I have accomplished in my short lifespan” what a conceited thing to say.

  • tass

She is just so darned gorgeous! Love her!

  • steph

    She looks gorgeous!

Miranda looks beautiful, so classy & stylish.

  • @3

It’s not unfair at all. Miranda is simply doing her job just like any other person whether their actors, singers, athletes etc.

Why resent people because their successful at what they do???

You sound like you have a bad case of sour grapes & are full of jealousy & envy.

Miranda is from a small country town who has managed to get to the top of her field by working hard. Not all beautiful girls make it, you have to have that extra something to stand out and she has that “it” factor.

She’s a local girl made good, well done to her!

  • Tired

@@3: You are right! She did well seizing the opportunity and making money for her and family….The society is to the point of absurdity indeed, enriching people with a “work” like this. Millions of dollars to do what?…to be a beauty? This is work?…..Don’t get me wrong, I’m not against modeling and fashion but other models tell us modeling is a beautiful work and compared to others is also simple…..MK has the brave to tell us modeling is a hard work….Hey MK say that to the miners!!

  • Tired

@jodie: Just what i think! What she does until now??? I admire what Angelina Jolie does….At least, Angie went to poor countries…..went to see the “real” world with her eyes and she used money also for a lot of good things…

  • @14

Well, what I do is ‘simple’ compared to the work that miners do. Does that mean that if I succeed, that I should be ashamed of my success? Or that I don’t deserve it?
Are you a miner? If not, are you willing to switch salaries with them? Because since you seem to think that salary should be defined by the required physical labor, you should be willing to do just that.
Miranda is one of the lucky few who get paid a lot of money for being beautiful. It’s her job.
    Get over it.

  • .

I thought that some really famous celebs like Angelina,Leonardo,Charlize will get most of the space on these kind of sites ’cause they’re easy to notice since almost everybody knows their faces…and yet here we are.
So if super hollywood stars can keep their privacy how come models and c listers can’t. They really think we’re that stupid?

  • @17

Miranda is on a promotional tour, so she is getting a lot of attention.
And her threads here always bring a lot of hits due to haters who just can’t help themselves.
She is a VS model who has walked the runways of Paris. She has her own skincare line, and is married to a very famous, very well liked celeb.
She is becoming more famous every day, and she has a lot of fans.
If you don’t like her, then stop clicking on her threads. Simple, isn’t it.

  • Jess

The weirdo whackjob person who calls him or herself a fan is back…

  • @19

Uhm, you’re on every thread, under several different names (you were busted, remember) and you are calling someone else a “whackjob”?
At least her fans have a decent reason foir being here. You haters are just sad and pathetic little sockpuppets.

  • @17…

What Miranda is doing is no different than movie actors promoting their latest films.

They give interviews and attend premiers all around the world.

Miranda is the new face of Samantha Thavasa so of course she would be photographed with her handbags, just like Jennifer Lopes & other stars did before her.

Saying she is not being private is ridiculous, it just makes you sound dumb, jealous or both.

  • Ange

@^_^: I feel your pain buddy. But things aren’t that simple. Life isn’t all fame and glamor for people in media either. E.g. all the hate they get and the lack of privacy.

  • Ange

@jodie: Maybe its your interpretation. She has done some major things, not ground breaking, BUT she is successful.

  • Ange

@Tired: OK its a different kind of hard. You try look the way she looks and never live in one place for over a few weeks in order to work. AND face public scrutiny and have no privacy. You can’t compare the two. You are trying to compare the physical labor of both jobs. In which case you would have to say being a writer or an accountant isn’t hard work either because the physical aspect of it isn’t level.
