Eva Longoria: Help Me Raise Money for Latinas!

Eva Longoria rocks a bright outfit while exiting Beso restaurant on Friday (June 28) in Hollywood.

“Help me raise funds for Latinas through #ChimeforChange! Less than 1¢ from each of you would achieve our goal!” the 38-year-old actress tweeted earlier in the day.

“Less than 1¢ from each of you would achieve our goal!” WTF? What’s less than a penny?

# 2

Wouldn’t give her 1 cent; let her use the millions she’s made from tv, commercials and other venues and she’ll achieve her goal without making the poor public feel guilty if they don’t give to her cause. Can’t stand her.

Why would I donate money to Latinas? What makes them so special? How about trying to help out people in general who need help regardless of their culture?

Personally, I think it is important to help and empower ALL girls of ALL ethnicities. If she said this in reference to white girls she would be called a racist.

Eva Longoria is known for supporting mainly Latino/Latina causes, the worst of which is The National Council of La Raza, a racist hate group who try to pass themselves off as moderate. She is free to support any cause she wants, but instead of asking the public for money for her causes she needs to dip into her own substantial bank account, filled with the millions she’s made from television, endorsements and personal appearances, and quit asking others for donations.

What I Don’t LIKE about Eva is, she is SO racially biased, it is ridiculous. She is interested in helping no one but Latinos.

She only works on Latino causes, and she only helps Latino organizations.

Even that movie she produced recently, she employed only Latinos to be the main jobs.

Soory Eva, I will never help you. You are too biased. Everyone is on to you.

@Jean: What is wrong with that, white people do the same, so do blacks, jews and so on.

# 8

@Jean: How many Latinos/Latinas do you see on t.v.? She did a great service to get some of them working, what is wrong with that? You have shows that are set in New York City, one of the most diverse cities in America, that feature all white casts. What is wrong with her creating a show to highlight Latina actresses, who would otherwise be struggling for work or working an episode here and there on Law and Order or some other episodic t.v. show?

She is proud of her community and wants to give back. I see nothing wrong with that. I think she could have worded this better, like; ‘help me send Latinas to college’, or ‘support affordable child care for Latinas’.

Lets help raise money for Anglos! Chime for change! ;)

For Latinas? What does this mean? She is so stupid, I can’t stand her. What do the Latinas need it for? Do you wanna at least let us know that? Or just raise it for those who are ‘Latina’ so they have more money? Raise it for WHAT?

@triagn: Thank you!! So right! They are the brown K KK!

Blacks and whites DO help other groups. Eva does not. She never does, she only want to help Latino causes./

If the Latinos have the talent they will get the job.
There are many who are talented who get jobs on their own. They do not need special treatment from Eva, to get jobs in show business.

I use to like Eva, but she has gotten too brazen in her bias, I stop liking her.

You are spot on about Eva. And you are spot on about La Raza.

Help me raise money for black, white, and Asian girls. So there Eva.

Blacks and whites are known to help other racial groups. But Eva does not offer her help to other racial groups. She has a one track mind. Latinos are clannish like that.
I have noticed that about Latino politicians, they always concentrate on Latino causes.

She needs to stop treating Latinos/Latinas and the whole Hispanic community like minorities in a disparaging way. There’s nothing ‘special’ about them that needs special treatment. It shouldn’t always be about them. Every organization she is in is solely for the Hispanic community. That is racially biased.

@ Menna …. name me one cause that has white or Caucasian in the name … You stupid idiot , if white people only helped white people they wouldn’t let every poor uneducated illegal alien in the country , that are 80 % HISPANIC they would vote for representives that would pass laws that would force lawforcement to deport or jail them since ” white ” people are STILL the majority 68% of the US population, from the 88% they were just 25 years ago, after 25 years of lack immigration laws.

I give what little I can to a local homeless shelter and Habitat for Humanity. I would never donate based on race and I have given my share of dollars and pesos in Mexico to both animal care and a local library.

Jared or mods – why did my comment not get posted? It had no dirty words, did not attack other posters or their views, and was just my viewpoint which I consider moderate given my age, income, etc TY.
